Thanks man! I got lucky and was first in line at a bourbon lottery and surprisingly they allowed me to grab multiple bottles. Typically you're only allowed to grab one premium bottle so this was a freaking treat!**** of a haul my guy! Cheers!
Not a bad plan either way. Could also trade it for other juice! The 18 is more complex but the 12 is a really good sipper, definitely can't go wrong with either.
I'm trying to decide if I want to crack that GTS for the holidays or flip for a handsome profit

Ended up flipping it and made $600, it also paid for the Blantons STFB which is liquid candy! We have 2 more lotteries that I'm going to go to before Christmas so I might get another opportunity to snag one but it's hard to pass up a profit like that so quickly.Amazing!! Enjoy!!
Understandable! Great score all around. I love the Straight from the Barrel. So much good stuff. I was casually drinking some Michter's 10, Weller 12 Yr, Birthday and Very Old St. Nick the other night and it hit me today what a solid lineup it was to be sipping around the table.Ended up flipping it and made $600, it also paid for the Blantons STFB which is liquid candy! It was this one and it was sweet! I was not ready for how sweet it was as I grabbed it without reading the key element of MAPLE.How is the very old st Nick?
Appreciate that! There's a bottle catching dust locally and thought about pulling the trigger but I am not crazy about Maply sweet in my bourbon, it's why I don't drink Woodford reserve double oak because it's too maple sweet for me.It was this one and it was sweet! Enjoy!!!I must've been on Santas good list this year because I just got a call from my local liquor store for this 12 year PVW at MSRP!View attachment 313294
Have you cracked it yet and if so what did you think? I thought the 12 was good, the 15 for the price is amazing, then the more aged I just kept thinking about the $.I must've been on Santas good list this year because I just got a call from my local liquor store for this 12 year PVW at MSRP!View attachment 313294
I've yet to pop it. I'm thinking Christmas but I did try a sample a month ago and it was good. I definitely need to sip more to give a better assessment. It's a little light since it's proofed down, I prefer cask strength but it is smooth going down.Have you cracked it yet and if so what did you think? Yeah if you prefer a cask strength then the PVW 12 won’t be your wheelhouse, but it’s still something you have to grab as a bourbon head. Happy sipping brother, that’s a great Christmas Day sipI've yet to pop it. I'm thinking Christmas but I did try a sample a month ago and it was good. Merry Christmas to you! Haven’t had the EC 18 year yet so curious how it will be considering it's proofed down to 90. I really like those EC barrel proof. Agree on the Taylor barrel proofVery nice.
