This is really good stuff if you run across a bottle. Tough to find and it's a wheater.
Anyone try the Wild Turkey 70th that came out recently?
Fantastic. I'll be there for the game! Can't wait....I’ll post some pics here in a bit but holy **** guys I had an eerie experience
Last year for the GT game I was out of town unable to watch the game
This year I was in Louisville with some buddies and was having trouble finding a spot to catch the game. We got to it eventually but ****…
Anyway. Hadn’t been to Ville in over a year:
Buzzards Roost was awesome. Awesome awesome stuff over there. I had never been to that one
The new Bardstown spot is beautiful. Amazing to see how far they’ve come in a short amount of time
Michter’s still gotta be one of the more underrated distilleries there. The regular stuff isn’t my favorite but everything beyond that is **** good
We didn’t do any real tours or anything since we had all done them before but we had a blast despite the ****** weather
I didn’t buy a ton of stuff this time since I am beyond absurdly stocked but this Silver Oak from Bardstown and the Founders Wheater from BR were my favorites

Bardstown tasting room downtown was crisp!

Kidding..sort of…
I’d love to get back up there for the game. Not sure it’s gonna be an option but I never need an excuse to go to Louisville
but I’m looking forward to trying these bottles again when I’m sober and see if I still love them

When I was there in August, we found ourselves with a few minutes to visit the room, sit for a pour and pick up a bottle or two…
And then this barrel was sitting there, all boxed up, price and details, etc. striking up conversation - NO, we didn’t buy it, lol
BUT…
That’s the rough price tag I’m familiar with (give or take), so for sporting discussion here…
CIS Bourbon Barrel pick, create a savvy label… not specifically Bardstown, but we can make this happen… potential NIL play…
Obviously there are details for the bosses here to understand, but… could be fun and delicious!
Agree the tour is a must if you're nearby. Nice pick upsLoaded up on Buffalo Trace ($27 a bottle) and scored 2 bottles of EH Taylor ($50 per bottle) at the Buffalo Trace Distillery after the Louisville trip. Spent about $450 and well worth it. Easily double everywhere else I see them both. Pretty great tour if you haven’t been

Man I am jealous. Big stagg at MSRP is elite lol.View attachment 311865Today's lottery score! Got these all at MSRP
I love both of those, especially that **** Creek. I bought my first 18 year **** Creek when it dropped this fall and it's a flavor bomb!Man I am jealous. Big stagg at MSRP is elite lol.
Picked these up yesterday at Publix. Been looking for both of these for a while now at retailView attachment 311889
I actually had the choice between 12 and 18. Some reviews I read claimed the 18 was not worth the extra money in comparison so I went with 12. the difference will end up in bourbon anyways haha.I love both of those, especially that **** Creek. The 18 is more complex but the 12 is a really good sipper, definitely can't go wrong with either.I actually had the choice between 12 and 18. Some reviews I read claimed the 18 was not worth the extra money in comparison so I went with 12. the difference will end up in bourbon anyways haha.

I'm trying to decide if I want to crack that GTS for the holidays or flip for a handsome profit
