Bold Prediction: Coley to start by UNC

Watching Coley as a 11 grader using Tracy and Deon as seniors sold me. I don't think he can be covered. However, reading all this about the guys in front of him just puts a big smile on my face. Dang we got some WRs. I got one questions, how many tall, fast dbs do the swamp scum have? I guess they might be droping back 20 before the snap and then turning to run like ND last year. I'm guessing TEs and Duke catch a lot of balls that game. I don't watch swamp scum, they gots any lbs that can run Duke down after he catches a pass 10 yards dwon field?

that vidya was from Feb of Coleys soph year

I've said before, this kid will leave UM as the most decorated wideout since Johnson. He will play this year, simply because he can help the team win.

he will play this year for sure, but to be a starter you want the kids that are certain of the playbook and you trust in the run blocking game, etc. Coley is an excellent addition to multiple WR sets, especially on obvious passing downs.

For the most part, "starter" is only a title that players will hold with the amount of guys we'll be rotating. WRs, TEs, CBs and the DL will go 2-3 deep that get major PT.

They'll all play starter minutes/snaps.

Coley has a great future and he will be a start at Miami, but it will take time for him to develop in to that specially when we have Drosett (who is just a beast right now) Hurns who is a very smart WR and Scott/Waters.

Now if we were in a DE/DT situation it would be a different story. Quan will shine as a Freshman because we need a strong pass rusher and he will.

Dorsett is going to be insane this year count on that!

I mean we all know that Coley is more talented than say, Allen Hurns, but Hurns has very good chemistry with Morris which is hard to replace. Not knocking Hurns of course, but guys like him have been through UTough multiple times, seen a million passes from a cannon like Morris (ask Rashawn Scott if that's important).

Still just a matter of time though.

exactly... also I watched the UM vs Ohio State (2011) game and Hurns was a beast for us during that game. He is consistent!

Just needs to stay healthy. There were times last year when it looked like Morris could feed him the ball all the way down the field. Hurns was actually a great example of Randy recruiting like Golden. Not much recruiting fanfare but he blew the coaches away live, so he got an offer and has had a nice career so far for a ho-hum 3 star grow on trees Florida WR.

I said the same thing here and people disagreed!! whats up with that???

bad outing COLEY. disappointed!!!

but he'll make it up against the GATES next week. am i right CANES??

I'm disappointed in the drops, but I'm not disappointed in the fact that he was gaining separation in his first collegiate game. He'll be fine IMO.

Separation is meaningless when the hands have grease on them.

Kid risks becoming a Jacory like head case if he repeats this kind of performance.

Needs to get it together and fast.

Kid dropped two td ! If this was a three star recruit everyone would be calling for his head. I'd say the over reaction is crowning coley after that performance.

First game jitters and he's not used to the speed n velocity of the football Morris throws. I think he will still struggle a lil at first for those reasons but will be ballin out the last third of season.

First Game. He will be fine. In no way were either of those drops an indictment of what his time here will be. just got too pumped up is all.
