I don't pay for drivel but CaneSport put out a free video where Ferman and Shodell were essentially shouting over for each other for a good hour on a variety of topics. About the only constructive takeaway that I took from their convaluted rants was when Shodell said, due to the bloated COVID rosters, there is no better year to fire a coach, and while throwing away one, albeit down, recruiting class is a mild sting, keeping Manny another year ensures you likely jeopardize another 1-2 classes.

Tom Jurich has the cojones to hire a guy like Art Briles, then make Alonzo Highsmith 2nd in command over all things AD football related so that there's a level of accountability making sure things are kept above board (concerning Briles alleged involvement of misconduct at Baylor).
 
Man I kinda feel bad for Blake. That big *** tranny he is married too is going to be ****ed when she can't get her hormones. She might kick his ***.

Yep. We have what, 8 commits and the 60-something ranked class? You sacrifice the **** out of this class to take your time and make home-run AD and then HC hires. Mel Tucker showed its possible to use the portal to turn a roster over in one off-season. Worst case scenario it's a crutch until the new HC can recruit a full class and get his 2nd year bump.

At this point, I'd hire Freeze or Kiffin and have strong morals clauses in their contracts to where the University is covered if they do anything stupid. Briles has done things that are utterly unacceptable. Putting the screws to rape victims isn't something I'd ever want Miami to tolerate...

The BOT and admin could very well have had a search ongoing for some time now. If a new AD is named sooner than later, I wouldn’t read too much into that. It would also be advantageous to get someone on board sooner to get the ball rolling with other moves.

CIS usually puts a delusionally comedic amount of weight that Manny Sr still pulls in Miami (the city) let alone at the school but I'd absolutely love to hear if he's shook tonight and making calls to gauge the temperature of his boy's seat. My guess is that he's already been told that Manny is going to get to finish the year and that's why he was on the sideline in Tally.
