It's being reported that intermediaries from Greg Schiano and Mike Munchak have made inquiries on the Penn State job if Bill O'Brien were to leave

Vandys already thrown everything they have to keep Franklin happy (Money, facilities, proceeds from licensed goods sales) I think he bounces but ambition isn't always a good thing...... He's a head coach in the SEC with the most job security in the conference right behind Saban. Sitting pretty if you ask me but it's probably not enough for him.....which is a shame.

Al has said it before that he does not want that job. I also think it is such a complete **** show that so many on here are saying we wouldnt miss him and blah blah blah. DO you fuggin idiots remember the last two times we had an opening? NO ONE wanted it after Coker! So we got Shantard. Then when he left we actually thought we were getting fuggin Gruden and we ended up with a small time up and comer in AG. Now in my opinion AG was a great hire and we will see that in the future, just as most people wanted Butch gone and now would personally suck his d!ck to come back. I just dont get the grass is greener theory that this culture lives with.... AG is staying, he is paid well, he has built something special here, he has finally gotten out of the shadows of the NCAA. It just does not make sense to leave now.....Well, unless you think he is interested in fans that actually support the team, if thats the case he a fuggin goner!

Al is not leaving Miami.

1. He has stated Miami is a destination job.
2. He has bragged that Miami is the most recognizable brand in college football.
3. He will never find a more fertile recruiting ground than he has here.
4. His parents live in Naples. His parents love it here, his wife loves it here....he's staying.
5. His older brother walked on to Miami in '81 when Schnelly was here. Al has been a hurricanes fan ever since.
6. He's repeatedly told recruits he's not going anywhere.....especially with the NCAA nonsense gone.

STOP with the PSU nonsense you narrow, soft shouldered SOBs.
Sure, his name may come up for certain jobs......BUT HE'S NOT LEAVING.

This is the darkest timeline.

Bill O'Brien & Texans intensify talks they hope will make him next coach in Houston, per sources. ESPN link soon from myself & @AdamSchefter

I don't wanna lose Golden at all! That would sting, especially after going thru the NCAA crap with us. BUT, if his leaving means the end of d'NOfrio, then I can sleep a little better if he leaves.
