Bethel charges dropped; Video released of punch

**** that, i would do the exact same thing he did. all y'all white knights that judged him, "never hit a lady, even if she has a knife" GTFOH. go back to watching your feminist lectures on youtube and learn how to grovel more

A few things:

1. Does Williams (the ad before the video) use paid actors?

2. That poll or beam could not have been more strategically placed.

3. It was nice that nobody came over to the girl.

Treat women in this situation like you would with a 'developmentally handicapped' individual. It's not the same thing as if it's with another guy. If he does that, nothing comes of this at all.

His attorney and/or family might have told him to keep his *** off Twitter and his mouth publicly shut until this all played out. Maybe that's why the apology is "late".

Not defending him, just saying if I were advising him in this crazy-*** situation, that's likely what my advice would have been to him.

The apology is late because he was advised not to admit to doing anything wrong until after the grand jury puked out the case. End of story.

After seeing the video, I see why they didnt press charges. Felony? Lol. I bet the prosecutors felt really dumb after seeing this video. If that were a dude instead of a girl, they would have just let it ride out. Would have been a non issue.

I too am surprised not one person came to comfort her. Lol. She must be known for having a hot head around those parts.

In any event, hope he bounces back. He deserves a second chance. Now time to move on from this topic. This is like the 4th thread about this. This dude is not even a UM player.

initial report: Nigel was fouled
what actually happened: happened: Nigel was punched in the head

initial report: Nigel started to beat on the girl using hands and feet
what actually happened: Nigel threw a responsive punch

initial report: the girl had a broken jaw and was in surgery
what actually happened: no broken jaw and no surgery.

initial report: bunch of guys wanted to beat Nigel up for the incident (making it sound like everyone was against him and if he is back in school there will be issues)
what actually happened: guys ran up to get him away from the situation and talk some sense in to him



Texas Tech if they don't take Nigel back he should sue the living **** out of them.

I jumped the gun, I admit. That is still wrong. Men shouldnt hit women, but that right there wasnt a felony. She looked to hit him first. In the eyes of the law, he would be "Defending himself." So I can see why they dropped the charges.

This is as accurate as it gets. in one article the dude said he so mad he wanted to jump on him after he kicked her. they made sound like he was beating her down. that video that was shown was an immediate response of being hit. he realized who it was but when you from the hood and get hit you reaction is too hit back i dont even think he meant to hit her. his reflexes just reacted. its still wrong to hit a woman though.
 
Yeah, I'm pretty much over this after seeing the video too. The "attack" clearly wasn't what was described in the police report (kicking, etc). But Bethel clearly turned, recognized that it was a female that pushed/slapped/hit him and still proceeded to crack her in the jaw. Best of luck to everyone involved and let's not allow any more co-ed pickup games- especially when the dudes involved are more apt to hug someone that just swung on a girl than crack him back.

LMAO. I was thinking the same thing. That dude did a full sprint across the **** court faster then Sonic the hedgehog. His end to end court speed has to be faster then DRose and Russ Westbrook!

(Ok now I am officially done with this. lol.)
