Best PROSPECT in Dade history

No on Chad, Matt, Duke, Marvin, Kenny, Andre, Najeh, D...well, you get the point. All were solid prospects in high school, but no, note relevant to this convo.

Disagree. All those guys were 5 stars (might argue Najeh/Mac but there were injuries there) monsters coming out of HS. Who is your choice above them?

Since there’s no available film on him to eval, Freddie Miles gets talked about as if he’s the most talented RB to ever come out of Miami.

Willie Williams played half of his senior season and still lead dade in sacks (well, he basically played a full regular season if you fount the playoffs). I’ve never seen more hype around a local prospect. Since Bobby Washington, I haven’t seen another RB prospect get as much hype until Cook (maybe Duke)

Best non-highly rated prospect is sean Taylor. 3-Star with elite frame, athleticism, and production.

Hard to name the best ever as far as projecting their ceiling and floor out of hs.

Best that I’ve ever seen:

Frank Gore
Dalvin Cook
Sean Taylor
Dee Morley

Based off on the field production ONLY, TY Hilton might be the best hs skill player that I’ve ever seen live. He would literally jog his routes and dominate with a **** team like Miami springs. He’d do the same thing in 7v7 against good teams. He did same thing in optimist. Maybe the most dominant prospect with average build that I’ve ever seen.

I agree but I was just answering the question posed by the OP "I’m not talking about results of how they did in college and the pros but more who are the highest rated Dade high school prospects ever?" also by the time I replied a pretty good list had already been provided so I added Forston.
all good

I'm only 31 so I can only go off of who I seen play: Darnell Jenkins (Nuke), Bryan Pata (RIP) unblockable at least 5 sacks a game, Nitro (Northwestern) too fast, Dwayne Bowe was **** as Norland, Duke Johnson, Willie Williams, Kenny Phillips, Frank Gore probably the best cause he destroyed top teams playing at coral gables.

Kenny & Andre were excellent prospects, but they weren't looked at as can't miss guaranteed going to dominate in my opinion, which Andre ended up doing. & frankly w/Duke he was a great HS player, but when thinking about this question I'm thinking bout kids who have elite NFL attributes even as they enter college, that's just how I'm looking at this question and I never thougt of Duke that way because of his lack of physical skill set.

But that just might be me looking at this question differently - I'm thinking Sean Taylor, Adrian Peterson, Vernon Cary, Randy Moss - those kids who you know will be great in college but even when just leaving high school had such an elite ability you thought they're potential is elite NFL. And on the wrong spectrum of that think Willie Williams or Jammi German (though not Dade, as was pointed out to me, but using as an example).

Best prospect of all time, Lester "the Molester" Williams, defensive tackle, Carol City Chiefs. Best running back had to be Freddie Miles of Springs.

Most sought after Dade Players of the 70s:
George "Buster" Rhymes, Northwestern, Oklahoma
Elvis Peacock, Central, Oklahoma
Freddie Miles, Miami Springs, Florida and Illinois
Reggie Kinlaw, Miami Springs, Oklahoma
Lester Williams, Carol City, Miami
Dennis McKinnon, South Miami, FSU
Neal Colzie, Coral Gables, Ohio State
Keith Ferguson, Edison, Ohio State
Warren Bryant, Edison, Kentucky
Mike Reilly, Columbus, Oklahoma

I've said it before 100 times, and I'll say it 1,000 more.

Freddie was the best. In any era. ever.

Just sad it didn't turn out well.

I knew when Howard kicked him off the team and he left coral gables, that it was going to be the beginning of the end. So sad.
