Gotta be honest, glad its a Berrios thread instead of a Quincy Wilson thread. Ya know, the one that would have the guy who says Quincy Wilson posted a 97.65 Sparq running a 4.60 40 and a 4.16 shuttle while standing at 6-1 while Lammons posted a 83.01 SPARQ running a 4.72 with a 4.23 shuttle standing at 5-9

Which other 5 receivers would you rather have? I don't think any of them want an offer from Miami as bad as Berrios does. The kid is talented as ****. Berrios + 1 of those 5 would be a **** of WR core I'm sure. How long are you willing to wait on those 5 just to find out only one of them will probably be a Cane anyway?

yeah i would take Quincy and Treon over Lammons in a millisecond.... Lammons is too slow and short to be anything special while Quincy always seem to stand out. the staff ****ed this one up.

Nigel, Quincy, and Treon are all better college prospects then Lammons.... **** i would take Mayes over Lammons w/ how poor those numbers look.

Unless winning games is now down to Sparq ratings, I don't care about those numbers. Does Lammons play like a 4.72 kid? Who is the better player?

not counting Langham....

Lane, Dixon, Rudolph, Noil, and Bronson.... i would wait as long as i need too for either one of these guys to commit, even if its just one.

But how many wide receivers does the staff want in this class, that's the big question, if they want 4, then i dont have a problem getting Berrios and hoping for 2, at least 1, out of the top 5 i listed above.

Also I guess a fair argument would be Berrios or JoJo which would be a toss-up but Miami doesnt need both.
 
Im sure alot of schools are hoping we think this way, zone3cane. Lol. They would happily take him off anyones hands who is not a believer. I must say I am surprised by Lammons numbers. Some guys just are not workout warriors just football players. Not surprised by QWs numbers though.

While i'm actually pretty impressed with the athleticism that shows, his hips seem to be the clear concern. He can run a fixed agility measure but can he react, flip his hips and accelerate based on reaction? They saw him in a camp setting and weren't sure. Do want at safety though because he's big, athletic and nasty. He kind of dug his own grave there, sadly. On to the next one

I bet we take 4. I also feel only 1 of those 5 will be a Cane on NSD. It's a long way away, but I wouldn't hold off. They hold off too long, they'll lose Berrios for good, and still probably come out with just one of the 5. I would definitely take Berrios over JoJo at WR. JoJo could move to DB also if we get a few more including him.
 
It's **** or get off the pot time & I would offer Berrios regardless. If he committed I would tell the others that space is limited so get in where you fit in!!

But that's just me

I would be satisfied with a pull of langham, berrios and Dixon

Offers don't need to get pulled. Also good for us it's looking like worton might go to WVU if he decommits. Just have to wait and see on the wide receivers. The situation will play itself out. We are in a good position.

Berrios says staff told him they are waiting on someone local. On his way to the opening they told him to hang in there and something might be happening soon
 
This kid is a baller. He's like Tavon Austin-lite. If he really likes Miami as much as everybody is saying, I'd be sad to see us pass on him.

Pulling an offer does nothing, it probably is a space issue.
