They say the best recruiters have the best wives lol

Wouldn't count him out with the Texas boosters too

For those wondering though, here is Steve's new wife

She bad but, and I say this with the utmost level of respect, have you seen the Queen of San Amaro Drive? Mrs. Cristobal is living proof that no one should ever be shocked by Mario's ability to acquire top shelf talent.

This shows me that recruits are able to look past our performance this season and realize see the bigger long term picture.

We as fans are impatient and rightfully so after the last 15 plus years, but Mario is recruiting at a level we haven’t seen or been accustomed to in a long long time.
Sincere questions. What pitch are the coaches making and why do these commitments seem so solid despite poor play. Is Mario’s recruiting such that it is unaffected by the results on the field? Because we are putting a poor product on the field and recruiting at a high level despite and that is very uncommon.

The majority of the talent in TX is in Houston & the Dallas/FW/North Dallas areas.

TX is pretty much just like Florida when it comes to recruiting, schools like Notre Dame, Oh ST, Clemson, Stanford, Michigan, Michigan ST & even PSU sign 4-star prospects annually out of TX.

The best kids in TX are going to Bama, LSU, TAMU, UGA & Oklahoma, the usual suspects, but Miami can get in that mix as well if we're going to continue recruiting at the level we're at now. It's simply a matter of effort & selling the program.

If a talented 4/5-star kid will leave Texas to go to Stanford, then he'll come to Miami too, all we have to do is pursue him the same way we do with the FL kids.

We missed the boat by ghosting Texas in the 00s. In the 90s we had a huge presence in south Dallas, Houston - kids there loved us. Granted, the dynamics of football demographics changed in those cities but we abandoned those recruiting grounds for many years .

I still say that Houston and Dallas are recruiting areas that most resemble sofla in the country.

Honestly, I think it's largely NIL that keeps pledges solid across the board at every institution now. Great recruiters will always recruit but I think making a commitment where money is involved is more likely to stick. Especially now that the info is kind of public knowledge with bagmen out in plain sight. No one wants to be the guy that's trying to take money and run for visits, soft commits, etc. Especially considering decommitting would likely lead to lesser commitments of money as trust is essential when money is given from any person or organization. Some will still play the game, but it is likely that a lack of trust could ultimately decrease their overall earning potential when it comes to NIL commitments which is essential as a high school recruit. Especially considering once you get on campus NIL will largely be performance based unless it's a smaller program wide commitment from a company. Just guessing though.

Yes sir. I’ve been preaching for a year that the NIL will calm down all the musical chairs and hopping around. Its not nearly as wild and that’s a big reason why

He can sell playing time. **** these kids see the same thing we do and know/think they can see the field early and all kids/classes think they will be the change. Next year he has to win more but he can still sell we are transitioning and tell top kids we need you here now to fix this
Brah when these kids watching film, they not seeing scheme problems, they seeing 8 getn roasted and be like im better than him....fact. Plus they know Mario didnt recruit alot of these players. Fans dont seem to have that comprehension. Its simple logic.

As long as the battleground isn’t an actual football field, Mario is dominating
