Playing the bummy out-of-conference schedule is why winning 9 games in 2013 means nothing. Played all four OOC games in the state of Florida (home v. FAU, UF, Savannah State and @ USF) against teams that went a combined 13-35(!!!)...**** that. Then we are shocked when we are in dog fights against mediocre FBS conference opponents like UNC and GT and shouldn't even be on the same field with teams that are above average (VT and Duke)...nevermind when we play the nation's elite where we look like we're FIU against teams like FSU and Louisville.

Now Louisville is a CONFERENCE OPPONENT and we don't want to play them?

****** ay.

Miami goes from "anybody, anytime, anywhere", to "please ACC, don't make us open with Louisville. They're bullies"
That's disappointing if true. Just like it was to hear Rece Davis say we voted to block Louisville out of the ACC.

Academically, Louisville has no business being in the ACC. Their joining was a pure business i.e. football decision.

My thoughts:

1) There are plenty of snaps available for Rayshawn Jenkins, Jamal Carter and Deon Bush to all see quality time. Im liking that rotation of safeties. No real drop off when we substitute.

2) I've been the captain of the Rashuan Scott fan club since he was a recruit. At the end of 2012 I felt the coaches were finally seeing what I saw in Scott. He reminds me of Michael Irvin in that he has a great ability to catch the ball while being covered. I was saddened to see he fell into Golden's dog house. Maybe its the ex-athlete in me but I continue to wonder how much of this is on Scott and how much is on the coaching staff.

3) It would not surprise me to see al golden interview with Penn State. My guess would be that his primary goal would be to parlay that market-interest into something more for his contract with UM. (more $$ or more something else that he wants, etc.) Its the leverage game. Hopefully Donna and the AD play it a little more savvily than they have with previous coaching issues.

high school chess club. :p

And for those complaining about not wanting to open the season at Louisville next fall: Keep in mind that our season would open with consecutive road games @ UL and @ Nebraska. That's brutal and without need. The ACC needs to do a better job of incorporating the new programs.

It'll be a different UL game with Teddy gone, early in the season.

Will we be playing Louisville every year like fsu as our cross conference match-up?

I wanna play these ****s again on Labor Day night.

Lets play them the first week when they are not at full strength. They are loosing Bridgewater, probably their best WR Parker, both of their safeties, and more. Lets play and beat them while they are in transition.

Its the "Al Golden" way. Remember this is the guy that said he wanted no parts of LSU. LOL. Man, I am slowly but surely starting to turn on this guy as the days go by. He is really turning this program into the programs we use to laugh about. Smh.

We had already been turned into a program we use to laugh about. Al did not do that. Take your pick as to who but it predates Al. I long for the day when we were the destroyer of programs, but we are not that right now. This class could be the begging of our return, but I have to admit 7-0 koolaide tasted a lot better than the last 5 games.

When did Al Golden say he didn't want to play LSU?

Golden also said George Bush doesn't care about black people. At least reading this forum you would think so

The UL game will be very different than this year give me Duke in the line up and get Morris out of the game. Alos they will be shell of a team with out Teddy. We all know there back up never saw the field even in a blowout. There is a good chance Strong is gone as well. Fu€k UL I hope we beat their @ss every year. No mercy ever.

our defense might have won us that game already because the got teddy value so high, he left.
