Is he also (somehow) playing football for the gheytors on some sort of time share (because that's the proper analogy)?

There's no reason to make that point if you say it's different in the next sentence. It's not the same. If Richt is giving plays to FSU in his spare time, or Willis plays snaps for the Gators this year when we have our bye then it would be similar.

If you read my previous post you will see I’m not too happy about this either. I said I would rather pay money then let Erick write here. With that said @DMoney has made is pretty clear that They want to keep Erick on board so at this point instead of *****ing and complaining over something I have no control over I would rather make a point about us not being hypocritical when we have a former gator who did the same thing to better his future.

Why would Richt ever do that working for the canes? Why would Willis ever take snaps for the gators when he plays for Miami. Erick is employed and paid by Florida he is a Miami fan nothing but his fandom and writing for this site ties him to the canes. You are comparing apples and oranges because of your obvious hate for Eric. Like Dmoney said skip his posts.

The gator fans on rivals(who pay money) should be way more angry then anyone of our fans on this site. They are littery getting the worst writer who is a canes fan from our free site to write gators articles. Congrats @ErickMarreroU you must have some good connects to get that job but use everyone attack on you as motivation to make yourself better.

It’s not about the analogy it is comparing two similar situation where one person went from a team to another(one player one writer). There is nothing you can do about it so why let it bother you. I bet your the guy who freaks out when your table is ready 5 minutes late at a resturaunt. Yea it sucks and not ideal but just relax who cares if a college kid(who has connects) post an article on our website once a week.

I am not going anywhere with this. Your phone is fine. You're not a dumbf@ck. You can spell "restaurant" and know the difference between "your" and "you're," and "then" and "than," but you made typographical errors (not your fault) while typing on your phone (also not your phone's fault -- your phone is fine). Your comparison of two different things based on a perceived similarity was not an analogy, just a comparison (not an analogy). It was a good comparison (not an analogy). And I attacked a defenseless college kid by (wrongly) pointing out your analogy (it wasn't an analogy) was **** (it was a good comparison).

Sarcasm how cute. It’s a message board anyone who attacks someone for gramatical errors needs to get a life.

If I was turning in a paper to work or school I would care about those minor details. Where did I say it wasn’t an analogy I said my statement “wasn’t about the analogy”. It was just the point who cares nothing you can do about it but b*tch and that isn’t gonna do anything. But I didn’t really come to a Miami Hurricanes board to get English lessons on vocabulary and sentence structure.

Can we start charging money so internet tough guys can’t put their two cents in because they have no life outside of spell checking a Miami Hurricanes message board.

They aren't similar at all you dumb ****. A similar situation would be if Richt was still coaching at Georgia 50% of the time.

The Willis analogy is good because you can’t embrace Willis and hate on Erick for wanting to remain on board with the canes when he is a fan. When I was a kid I worked for marble slab creamery but I don’t eat ice cream but it paid the bills. Eric would much rather be a Hurricanes writer but he got an offer to be paid to keep doing what he is doing. Why hate on someone who loves the same team we do but love a guy who picked the gators over us.

Eric is a hurricane was from day one Willis signed on national signing day with the gators. Willis came here because a business decsion I believe when muschamp was let go and Eric made a business decsion to make money through the gators board writing about recruits. Don’t see much of a difference.

Love how you guys who are so butt hurt have to try and attack me bc I came around on how I felt and support Eric making money.

You are obviously looking at this as if I was taking about him writing for Hurricanes and gators at same time. But I am saying I don’t have an issue with the kid making money with a team he doesn’t really like just like Willis chose to play for the hurricane when he clearly likes the gators more then us on signing day the year before.

Actually I am not butt hurt. I was very happy when I heard Eric would be posting for the Gators. They should have the worst writer in the game. I was disappointed when I found out we would still have to read his tripe on this board. If you can't see much of a difference then you are exactly as stated before. A dumbass. He is more then welcome to make a business decision to write wherever he wants. Your analogy doesn't work because Willis doesn't still play for the Gators. Can you really not see the difference? If Eric stopped writing here and wrote for the Gators that would fit your analogy. Willis doesn't still play for the Gators.
