I get that rankings have a lot to do with the potential of the player, because t when he’s wrecking O’s against the BEST talent in America, that should override the measurables to a degree. I just hope we end up with him, because he’s gonna jack up some QB’s in CFB before he moves on to the league and I Don want that to happen to our QB’s.

Isn’t his ranking issue primarily one of size as in if he was 6’4” producing as he is instead of 6’1” he would be a 5 star?
I’m not justifying but rather exposing the flaw in rankings, but it seems to me Bain can never overcome this issue regardless of production.

It's the same in the NFL either helps or hurts you when it comes to that during combine time.

I don't care if he is the prototype for the NFL or gets drafted 1st round... we need productive COLLEGE players who can get us more Ws.
