Anyone know what kind of timeframe this one has, i.e. how long til we know if or how his legal issues will come to their conclusion?

Probably won't know the disposition of his court hearing for a month or so (probably mid March). Which gives the young man more time to reflect on his past actions and contemplate his future options. Hopefully he can get everything worked out and does not become another young black criminal statistics, we have seen far to many young men fall into that unfortunate cycle ultimately to not recover their path to a bright future.

He played in the 2016 International Bowl.

Look for No.9 playing D-end on for the USA (in Blue) he makes a lot of plays in the 4th qtr.

No Big Ten banner, but MSU has 'bigger fish to fry'

.Robertson hearing delayed: Former 2016 MSU defensive end commit Auston Robertson had a status hearing scheduled for Thursday in Allen Superior Court in Fort Wayne, Ind., but it has been continued until March 17 according to a court clerk. Robertson is charged with misdemeanor battery. His recruitment remains open and he has tweeted that MSU is still a consideration.

Also LSU and Ole Miss are now quietly circling and reaching out Robertson. Dave "the professor" Aranda LSU's new DC is personally recruiting Robertson. The minute Robertson's court verdict is announced; if it is not guilty or some type of diversion, his recruitment will explode into a full on battle royal. Hopefully Miami will be the last school standing.

There's a big difference between a rotten apple and one with a few blemishes on it. The rotten one is never considered to be used while the one with blemishes can be used to make a damned fine apple pie. Point is, you have to determine if a kid is rotten or just did some stupid **** that he regrets and is committed to moving forward in a positive manner. My close fried has spent his entire adult life in and out of prison. I went to college, then MBA then business owner. Point is, we shared identical environments and but some of us "decide" to go the wrong way, "knowing" the negative outcome. I call them idiots because there ain't a person black or other that doesn't know right from wrong and the possible outcome. That's why all people doing something illegal, make an attempt to hide their illegal activity. They know the negative consequences that will result if "caught".

I grew up in da projects and got in lots of trouble as a kid and young man. I met a coach who mentored me and went to college. I was one of a very few kids I grew up with who didn't go to prison and a coach turned me around. Richt can do the same for this young man.

MR kicks kids to the curb for missing 1 class and getting a DUI.....all before the DUI case is resolved.
