I absolutely love Richards at safety IMO he has all american type talent at that position insane range and a strong tackler he is in my opinion a cut above the other two in terms of a must have for this class

McIntosh at anywhere other than RB really calls your judgement into question.

I concur. McIntosh is being slept on as a blue-chip RB prospect. He's the #7 composite ranked RB. He has really loose hips for a back his size. Worst-case scenario is Mike James. Best-case scenario is Le'Veon Bell and I see a lot of his game in his highlights.

McIntosh at LB is scary!! Not taking away anything away from his skills at RB but he looks **** impressive as a LB. Havent seen the kid live but he looks like one **** of an athlete at LB.

I think he can be very successful as a back, and a more talented Mike James would be my exact comparison.

But it’s hard to watch the second and last clips on that HL and not dream about what he could do on defense. He has plenty of defensive experience throughout his varsity career so it’s not a pure projection.

When I watch the NFL Draft, I am struck by how many of the first rounders switched positions. That’s how you get those elite positional traits.

Give McIntosh every opportunity to earn PT at running back. If it doesnt work out, he can earn PT on the defensive side.

Agree with this, too.

You always give them a shot. Favre was recruited as a safety. Kelly was recruited as a LB. Portis was recruited as a safety, which led him here.

The competition between him and Crowley should be fierce. Both guys are big-bodied, productive runners with finesse.

May have already been asked @DMoney , but does McIntosh have a preference?

I will say this...NFL Draft Composite Percentiles of our athletes over the past few drafts are horrendous.

Mark Walton - 14th percentile athlete
Chris Herndon - couldn't complete the full testing, but what he did complete...below average
KC McDermott - 19th percentile athlete
Trevor Darling - 1st percentile athlete (holy **** thats horrendous)
RJ McIntosh - 2nd percentile athlete (holy **** thats horrendous)
Kendrick Norton - 15th percentile athlete
Chad Thomas - 35th percentile athlete
Trent Harris - 6th percentile athlete
Dee Delaney - 30th percentile athlete

Brad Kaaya - didn't complete testing, but we know he's a trash athlete
Stacy Coley - 35th percentile athlete
Corn Elder - 15th percentile athlete
Rayshawn Jenkins - 79th percentile athlete (finally, an above average NFL athlete!)

Artie Burns - 28th percentile athlete

**Well aware David Njoku is a super, premier athlete

That is TWO above average or better NFL athletes over the past three seasons. Wild.

I don't believe anything you just posted. None of that makes any sense. You're telling me 72% of NFL athletes test better than Artie? Fake news.

LOL.... please send a link to this article or where ever you found this garbage.

This is just my personal opinion, not necessarily where I expect them to be:

Richards- Safety
Sanguinetti- CB
McIntosh- LB

McIntosh will definitely get a shot at RB first. I like Sango's length and ball skills at corner, but he may have more of an offensive mentality.
I like 2 highly skilled big backs in Crowley and McIntosh, with two speedy and elusive backs highly probable in 2020 in Chaney Jr. and the Lakeland kid Bowman. Liked Jaylyn Knighton, but he committed to sooners.

I am curious about the source of this as well.

I don't think Artie participated in a lot of the combine events, which may be the origin of these stats.

I like Richards on Offense.

I don't give the Gates props on much, but them selling him on a Percy Harvin role is exactly how I see him best being utilized. I feel he can be a more explosive DeeJay (and for the record, Deejay has borderline elite explosion).

There has only been 1 Percy Harvin, and everyone associated with those UF teams now tries selling kids on that "role".

Hopefully Richards is smart enough to see through that

I'm a believer in putting your best athletes on defense. Sean Taylor set a record that still stands for offensive touchdowns in Florida. But he was an all-timer on defense.

McIntosh can be a **** of a RB. But we have other comparable guys there, and he is slightly limited in terms of top-end speed. At linebacker, he's a freak. He's played a bunch of defense in his career, and if you look at the second and last plays of his HL reel you can see the flashes.

also, if the kid wants to get paid, he should play LB. athletic LBs get paid in the NFL, even if they're not superstars. the second contracts for even some of the better RBs in the league are pretty low. compare salaries for guys like jamie collins, alec ogletree, eric kendricks, telvin smith to guys like lamar miller, carlos hyde, devonta freeman etc

Allen Bailey came in as a LB recruit. I think we all saw a position change coming, but it was the absolute right thing to give him his shot.

Feldman just shared something the Utah DC tweeted ... in the past 5 drafts (halfway through this one):

71 DBs in the first and second round
40 WRs

Numbers obviously still a work in progress but the point stands.

The way Sanguinetti moves reminded me of Ed Reed.. not jumping to conclusions, but just making the comparison
