A guy who is currently coaching in the SEC told me, "It's not just about getting the right kids on the bus. It's about getting them in the right seats on the bus."

That quote makes me think of Mark-Antony Richards, Josh Sanguinetti and Kenny McIntosh. I don't know where they'll sit on the bus. But I know they can play.

These are legitimately gifted athletes.

Mark-Antony Richards

Joshua Sanguinetti

Kenny McIntosh

@DMoney what do you see each playing if they committed here?

This is just my personal opinion, not necessarily where I expect them to be:

Richards- Safety
Sanguinetti- CB
McIntosh- LB

McIntosh will definitely get a shot at RB first. I like Sango's length and ball skills at corner, but he may have more of an offensive mentality.

Would you consider them all leans right now, and do you see a foreseeable commitment date from them?

I say get them on the bus and let them pick their own seats on the bus!! These 3 ATHs are all playmakers, SO it's best to give them the option where they think they best fit the system at and let them pick their first opportunities THEN IF for some reason the first option doesn't work out THEN the staff make the change to the spot they feel would give them their best opportunity BUT for now, it's all about getting them on the bus SO I say give them the option and let them decide!!

How we feeling on these 3 and their level of interest? They are hard to judge.

I feel good about all three.

McIntosh is the safest bet. Richards has family ties and we’ve been recruiting him the longest. Also a need at safety. Sanguinetti, we’re competing with Stanford (which rarely pulls kids from here) and he wants to play with McIntosh.

I like Richards on Offense.

I don't give the Gates props on much, but them selling him on a Percy Harvin role is exactly how I see him best being utilized. I feel he can be a more explosive DeeJay (and for the record, Deejay has borderline elite explosion).

Richards might be best as a safety but if he starts off on offense he will stay there. He'd be an elite receiver once he learns the position fully. So if he starts at a position i see him ending his career at that position.

McIntosh at anywhere other than RB really calls your judgement into question.

I'm a believer in putting your best athletes on defense. Sean Taylor set a record that still stands for offensive touchdowns in Florida. But he was an all-timer on defense.

McIntosh can be a **** of a RB. But we have other comparable guys there, and he is slightly limited in terms of top-end speed. At linebacker, he's a freak. He's played a bunch of defense in his career, and if you look at the second and last plays of his HL reel you can see the flashes.
