At least we aren't USC

They ended 78th in team rankings on 247 and last in the PAC 12......that's crazy.
We will if we end up with 6/7 wins next season. Kids will only believe your bull**** for so long before they just see right through it.

Quite frankly, no one cares about USC, Rams or Chargers. USC had the hype train going during the Carroll days but it died once he left. LA is still a Raiders town for football that’s why the season ticket and suite sales for the LV Raiders are far better than the Chargers or Rams.

Nothing beats the Lakers or Dodgers in LA sports.
That’s really not true at all. There are tons of USC fans from LA to Orange County. Like
Other large cities they go when they are winning. I lived in so cal for 19 years and I couldn’t stand SC fans but they are there. Pete Carroll took the Schnelly guidebook and put a fence around So Cal. For them to finish last with USC on their helmet is a grave indictment on Helton and the state of that program.

I take no comfort in somebody being worse than us, we suck real bad. I will mention how crazy this is though. Even with the ncaa up their ***, they were still landing loaded classes. Something's really changed over there for them to be recruiting this badly.

USC has so many advantages Miami doesn't. They are the school in CA and have the ability to dominate West Coast recruiting that just will never happen for Miami in FL given all the SEC teams + Clemson, Ohio St, etc that are all over here.

They also have a ton of money (just put $300 million into a stadium renovation) and have boosters willing to play the bag game.

What happened to them should never happen there, it's stunning

Everything you wrote is accurate. That's why USC fans were so livid at the Helton decision. Everyone assumed he was gone. Once he wasn't gone, everyone knew this was the recruiting reality. Miami fans are finding out about this today but USC boards have been talking about the 70ish recruiting ranking for weeks. They tried to save it with a couple of late gems but fell short. Normally USC pulls out classes with late flips.

Still, I'm not going to overreact. All the described advantages are still there. Besides, USC opens with Alabama next season. What could go wrong?

That sh*t Is absolutely crazy, none of the top 25 recruits in the state of California signed with a California school.

when people talk about, “what a failure of a class” now what usc just did this signing period is a failure... now that put things in perspective as it can be so much worse.

Usc dug their own grave here. You either fire Helton or give him job security over a longer time period. No halfway in between stuff. The kids aren’t going there cause they know he’s gone after next year unless they win ten games. Which won’t happen. And their talent level is going way down. They were ranked at the end of the year lol. They have a real quarterback and a real offense. So aside from recruiting I am jealous of them

USC has 11 players and only one 4 star.....just incredible. The only good thing about their class is it has I think (too lazy to look again) 5 offensive tackles, and 3 or 4 defensive tackles. Those are the positions you really can't miss any years (as we know all too well).

That’s a false sense of security my friend because that might be us next year if things keep going how they’ve been going. Have you seen our 21 recruiting class, yikes! And if Diaz brings back all his pop warner coaches which guarantees a bed **** next year that class is gonna get even worse. Smh
