He committed to Al Golden. AL GOLDEN. The new staff then decided he was too undersized and cooled on him, so he flipped to FSU. After he went fsu staff didn't make any attempt to reel him back in until Jobe bolted.

I agree w a lot of these latter postings. Love my Canes; think Richt is righting the ship, BUT they gotta stop w these Goldenesq evaluations. Golden was so hung up on gerth and now Richt and his staff are so hung up on height. Bandy did WONDERS for us this year. Young have stuck to WRs like glue (although I need him to turn his head around more!) Samuel should’ve BEEN had an offer. Look at what Trent Harris is doing! Chatfield should’ve BEEN had an offer. Time for the staff to stop recruiting in a box.

Who says we are going to miss on the heritage kids outside of surtain?.... you talking about rumph, didn’t Banda lose jobe who was his commit? Rumph has Ivey and blades all the way locked in and we are in prime position to land Campbell. Quit with the overreaction....

Poor Rumph. Guy did more with less than anyone on staff. Has a solid group of recruits he pulled but gets blamed for losing kids he was even the main recuiter for in Jobe and Samuel.

You can’t just call this a top 3 class to just fit your narrative. This class likely finishes 8-10. We’ve already dropped to 6th with not a whole lot left out there to cause significant jump. A top 10 finish is good tho

100% correct, Bethel isn’t very good, ask the local kids. Staff falls in love with speed and length but not a smaller playmaker. Never understood, this isn’t the NFL it’s ok to take shorter or undersized players at times in college that make plays, like Bandy. Most college teams don’t have accurate QBs and you need people who have a nose for the ball.

I think we dropped the ball on Johnny Ford also, I know we can’t get everyone but the kid is straight $, just get him the ball no matter his height.
