As of Jan 11 2025 - what we still need before ND

Seeing that we could be playing the defending national champions, I’d say a top WR, DT, and a LB right now

I wasn't really factoring him in. I meant to say we should target an MLB in the portal, but only if he's better than Alderman-level. No more Marley Cooks, Richards, Meesh Powells. We need ballers.

I'm not ready to crown Aguirre. I like him. But feel like he didn't take a big step last year. I worry about both Wes' and Popo's ceiling. Which is why I want one more proven high-end starter in the rotation.

I’m just hoping the insiders are as quiet this offseason as they were last offseason. If we start hearing a bunch of chirping about how this one or that one has turned the corner and taken the next step I will start being concerned.

We need another safety. We only have 5 on the roster.
 
I think we need to look at guys like Ray Ray and Jo Jo at WR and measure what we have gave what’s available.

We need at least one more elite WR

Also guys like Scott , Bryant, Blount vs what’s available..

At least 1or 2 DL

Patterson vs what’s available.

Prob another elite safety

interesting to see what LB we bring in with our new DC

And elite LB at either position.

One Elite WR, and Elite LB and Elite Safety and I think we are good to go.

Some depth pieces on the d line or an Elite DT if Scott doesn’t step up.

We need to add a versatile wr who can play inside or out. Definitely need 2+ LBs since this DC wants LBs who can run and strike. Our LBs stay injured with bad tackling so I'm guessing injuries will increase when you play this brand of defense.
