Article on portal players Miami might want

Not so sure about that 1st point and @Roman Marciante said the same on the recent CIS pod.
I Disagree on that . In a quick passing game system, Williams would put up big numbers. Get him in a Clemson like offense that deshaun Watson had and people would see it. Regardless we need to get far away from whatever we are running this season

Spread offenses feature a lot of perimeter throws and the ones that the fanbase are really clamoring for require the QB to be aggressive attacking 1on1 coverage in particular. Williams likes to throw in-breaking routes and hesitates when those aren't available. He needs to get leaner if he's going to be a run threat as well.

Give me one OL.

Find a kicker that wants a Miami education with the academics to get a ship on his own.

Shorter potentially just because he is Elite.

Now king is someone I’d like but we don’t run the spread. Qb is a non issue with what we have on our roster if they played in the right offense IMO

Completely disagree. If anything our QBs have shown they lack awareness on the field and leadership....good offense or bad those things are easy to see. Yes they have physical talent but the other things show up in every one of our bad losses.

I’m not sure how Miami is going to have room for transfers. Don’t they count against the 25?

We won’t that’s why we have to be super picky and not take 1 year rental olinemen who are backups. We need starters and to plug gaping holes, like kicker.

I don’t know WTF Penn State did to ***** with Shorter, but that kid is a stud. I saw him in the state final as a sophomore in a game with several D1 players and he was clear as day the best player on the field. I think he stays close to home, but that dude has elite physical talent and if we can get him it’s a big time add.

I’m not sure either. I’ll have to ask around.

I know he was hurt last year when Hamler and Dotson started making moves and he hasn’t shown to be a natural hands catcher. But physically he’s a freak.

D'Eriq King
Keith Corbin
Justin Shorter
Marcus Tatum
Brandon Ruiz
Justin Rogers
Ashtan Pierre
Devin Bush
Miguel Edwards

Are all players we should consider kicking the tires, both for immediate starters & for players that could give us depth even if they have to sit a year, like Justin Rogers, Justin Shorter & Devin Bush etc..

For GT immediate pt guys, bring me Tatum, King, Corbin & Ruiz.
Dude how many spots do we have to give?

We have 25-27 spots. Sign 25-26 and take one OL transfer that hopefully has two years to play.

Only scholarship players that don’t count are walkons who have been here for 2 years. They only count against the 85 total and not a class counter of 25. A kid like Reed or Thomas wouldn’t count twice but those are unusual.

They were talking like he was the best receiver in the country in his class when he came out, never understood why it never materialized for him at penn state. I would take him for sure
He had injury issues & didn't mesh well with the staff at PSU.

The talent is still there, you take a flyer on a kid like that if he's interested in coming.
