Somebody, quick, hand Donna Shalala a microphone, so she can drop it. That's the only way Canes fans will be happier tonight.

Keep in mind that the COI does not take as gospel everything the Enforcement ***** come up with. Bobby Cremins was recently appointed to the COI and he was quoted as saying the enforcement people should have been "really skeptical" using Shapiro as a source.

That is a gem. RT @edsbs The best part is the NCAA stating that if Shapiro said something more than once, they considered it corroborated.

Wow. Reading that gave me chills. That's twice she ****ed them up publicly now.

I wasn't really sure how much input UM or their attorneys had throughout the process, until we heard that there was a struggle over the wording of the NOA. After reading this statement from Donna...:

· Finally, we believe the NCAA was responsible for damaging leaks of unsubstantiated allegations over the course of the investigation.

...I now, more firmly then ever, believe that her timing was perfectly played throughout, she tried to get it squashed, Emerett is now trying to save his job, and Donna is about to ******* steamroll him.

As an attorney I am very excited, cause this is about to get good. And I like our chances.

Miami is going to war.

Methinks that between the statement made after the conclusion of the external investigation and the one tonight, Miami has to feel pretty good about it's retaliation in front of the COI.

No doubt on the timing. Her and Glazier have been waiting to play their hand. NCAA is ****ed and has lost all remaining credibility.

NCAA came out strong to save face. We came back strong. Media has been played and strung along. COI will give us something minor... and it was all orchestrated.

That's as strongly worded an official statement as I have ever seen....sadly doesn't mean much other than we will be fighting tooth and nail. All on the COI now.

Until Donna's two recent statements, I kind of thought this was what was going to happen. But its not. The NCAA was warned behind the scenes to let us off with time served, and they didn't. Now its on. This is out of the hands of the COI now. UM is about to go public. That's when the gloves officially come off.

Ummmm...no. So, the NCAA wants to look worse then they already do?
