In the 2024 Draft, only 4 TE's were taken in rounds 1-4

In the 2023 Draft, 9 TE's were taken in rounds 1-4

Depending on his combine performance, he'll be drafted between the 3rd or 4th round.

But, it's also entirely possible he slides to the 5th or 6th.

Medical will be huge for him

Thank you for all the great memories, Elijah. The Cal game was epic (especially the clutch catches in the 2nd half when there was zero margin for error). Was so great to see it live.

He’s as fast as many WRs, has great size and is super reliable catching the ball. He also hustled at every chance to help the team win (like running all the way down field to make a tackle). IMHO, he should be either the first or second TE taken in the draft. Future All-Pro. Hope he goes 2nd round or higher & has an awesome NFL career.

He's not getting drafted in the top 2 rounds unless he tests really good at the combine. Likely a 2nd round talent but a late 3rd round pick with his injury history. Unless he tests really well in the combine, he'll be the 6th or 7th TE drafted.
