Selfishly wish he was coming back, but it's a smart play considering his injury history.

Keeping guys like this is how you built a team up. We haven't been able to keep hardly anyone in 20 years.

Good for him.
had a great season. Glad he was able to bounce back from his injuries and have a great year.

I'd draft him in the 2nd round...he has the measurables and will test well. Next great Miami TE in the NFL

Where do we think he gets drafted?

Senior bowl and medical will be huge for him. If he kills it there can rise for sure. Its a good TE class where a bunch are in the 2nd -4th round range.

He’s a day 3 pick right now

He's not getting drafted in the top 2 rounds unless he tests really good at the combine. Likely a 2nd round talent but a late 3rd round pick with his injury history. Unless he tests really well in the combine, he'll be the 6th or 7th TE drafted.

I think he will test really well. He has the speed of a receiver and once everyone sees how hard he plays they will be sold. Still remember that amazing effort during the Va tech game where he hawked that guy who picked cam off

In the 2024 Draft, only 4 TE's were taken in rounds 1-4

In the 2023 Draft, 9 TE's were taken in rounds 1-4

Depending on his combine performance, he'll be drafted between the 3rd or 4th round.

But, it's also entirely possible he slides to the 5th or 6th.
