I've got Duke on this one. Miller was good, but like I mentioned he didn't seem to run with heart or evil intentions. That stumble Duke had out of the gate on his first TD run, miller would've fallen. I saw it plenty before. Duke recovered then broke two tackles. I can't remember seeing Lamar do that.

Or how bout that 4th and 1 run where he had to plant and go through two guys? That wasn't the kind of stuff Miller did. Either he had a crease or the play went nowhere

Lamar didn't like to get hit. Duke welcomes the contact so he can break free and run to the promise land called the endzone!

Go back and watch the VT game his rsFr year. Dude ran hard. And he did at times throughout the rest of his career. Just battled too many injuries, and I think it got into his head. Can't really blame him, but I prefer my backs to not have this issue. So, Duke for the next three, please. Glad that's what we have.

Fact: Last year against BC we had less yards and points with Miller and Streeter.

For all the ballyhooing going missing these guys, I didn't see it on Saturday.

We need someone who can stretch the field vertically. Since our O-Coordinator is not exactly a stickler for testing the middle of the field, the next best option is to do so along the sidelines. Streeter's skill set is/was such that he can do things our current guys cannot. We'll replace the production, but we're simply going to miss that dynamic until we bring someone else in or one of the current guys develops this part of their game (I can't see who would).

Hahaa man the op is crazy... Yes we'll miss them all... I can definitely say that Duke won't be taking 7 carries 135 yards every game... To be honest out offense wasn't that impressive until Duke took 2 tds back... he average a little over 19 yards a carry... He will not average 19 yards a carry throughout the season... The kid showed his talents but to say we won't miss Miller is an understatement... Our qb completed 28 passes for 200 yards... And if you take into account his deepest play came off a screen where Lewis just ran past the defender that is saying a lot... We don't have a deep threat or gamebreaker at wideout... We could have used all the guys that left but it doesn't matter... They had to leave at some point... Duke 2 long tds runs doesnt mean that he's better than Miller... Now potentially they all can be better by the time they leave hear but not now... And I'm surprised that Cane Almight had the nerve to put up this post...
