You want to run an attack mode defense with Shayon 'Spaghetti Knees' Green as a starter, and DTs that nobody has a clue about? And a bunch of LBs that *might* be good, but but are still big question marks? And a nearly all-sophmore back 4?

Stick to calling defenses on Madden, lulz.

Well, bend and break has been pretty successful so far.

I don't know how much he was last year at this time but he's currently 238 lbs

Corch Duh' turned Shayon from Lawrence Taylor into Denny Fortney. He took Darius ****, who had the potential to be another Jerome Brown, and turned him into a steaming load of goo. We should have been killing the QB with the guys we had last year.

Remember what a genius Steve Spagnuolo was when the Giants won the Super Bowl a few years ago with that dominating DLine? Tuck, Strahan, Humanurine, et al. He was so smart that the Rams made him their HC. Then, he immediately **** the sheets and got fired. He resurfaced as a DC, and guess what happened when he didn't have those hosses on the DL he had with the Giants? He continued to spray fecal matter all over the bed.

Jimmys and Joes matter.
 
I cannot wait for 2-3 years from now. Now don't get me wrong, I think we will be good to very good this year, but we have the potential to be freakish in a couple years. Get ready for the bandwagon fans and the media hatred again folks, it's gonna be one **** of a ride.

If we're still running bend and eventually break in 2014-15, with all the players Goldens is bringing in, then you can chimp out all you like. Right now, we're simply treading water and hoping the D holds opponents to a respectable number. And that's all we really need, because this offense has a chance to be exceptional.

He's not gonna get 40. And I only say that because if he becomes good enough to get 40, he'll be leaving after his junior year as a top 10 pick.

If you look at all of the elite DEs that have been top picks the last decade or so, they've all been at or around 30 career sacks.

Well, that's because Quan is a Cane. We don't shoot to just be "ok" or "decent."
I want all our guys shooting for the stars, and being ****ed if they come up an inch short.

By the way, Rusty Medearis had like 20 in his 1st 15 games as a true freshman and sophomore before wrecking is knee.
All it takes is the right player.

So I saw the video on the miamiherald where AQM was being interviewed by Manny.... and really what happened was Manny put the statement in his mouth asking him if he wanted to break the UM sack record. AQM didnt just say it boastfully..... He actually came off very humble and just (paraphrasing) said "he is just a freshman that is trying to take everything step by step but if that happens "wow" that would be great."

AQM did confidently say that he has rush moves that he feels guys in the NFL dont have b/c of God given talent.... so that's where his confidence is. But he just like the rest of the freshman class are really level headed individuals and arent thinking about stats or records at this point.

Actually if you have a front four that can wreak havoc you don't need an attacking defense....as that adds risk unnecessarily. If they can't bring heat then you take the risks.
