Al-Quadin Muhammad wants the all-time sack record at UM. Has no problem saying it. Would have fit in on the 80s teams.

Go and get it young fella.

Si, porfavor. Going to be nice to see someone pop off the edge at the snap. He may not play more than 15-20 snaps by the end of the season, but some of these mop-up games are going to be really fun.

Miami should have some nice numbers covering the spread this year.

Alquadin mohammad at um media day said some of his moves 'you don't see guys make even in the nfl."

Lu, you see AQM being strictly a 3rd down pass rushing specialist?

Man, if he gets more than 15 snaps consistently, this season went much differently than I anticipate OR he's out of this world.

Gilbert, Hoilett and Mccord should all theoretically get snaps over AQM.

Looks like Quan will have to average about 10 sacks a year if he wants to break the record (assuming he plays 4 years). According the the Miami Football Almanac, Daniel Stubbs is the career leader in sacks with 39.5 (played from 84-87), and he holds the season record for sacks with 17 in 1986. Not sure if he can break either record but I love AQM's attitude.

McCord looks a lot bigger physically than last year. I expect to see him be a lot better vs the run.

He was one of my favorite on the defense side last year

I can see AQM beating out Hoilett but i do agree he is most likely going to be used primarily on passing downs.... Gilbert should push for a starting job imo.

I can see AQM getting 5 or 6 sacks this year, especially since the interior D-line around should be much improved.... McCord had about 4 sacks and didnt come in as physically ready as AQM. Time will tell though.

Stubbs and Brown together were lethal. I am hoping that AQM and Valentine can bring back some of those memories.

if Al Golden is able to show he and his staff can turn a potential talent to an NFL level talent (1-2 round draft)

we will get allot more 5 star recruits committing.

Now, the only way we actually win a NC and stay on top is if Golden sticks around. Miami teams getting bailed out by overwhelming local talent days are over. Blake James needs to treat this like an NFL team and keep the money coming.

If Miami head coaching job is same as what Alabama pays Saban, then we will be "back"

He is light years ahead of McCord at the same point. He is definitely a little light still in the lower half which will hold him back but his natural skills are amazing.

Hoilett, AQM, McCord.....those are some young guys that can wreak havoc outside, then adding guys like Chad Thomas, Mike Smith......oh lawd

It is almost unreal how good we are going to be in 2-3 years. Not to take anything away from our team now which is also super talented but when the current Sophomores and Fresmen are Seniors and Juniors and the 2014 class are Sophomores... holy ******* **** we are going to be unstoppable. Literally unstoppable.

Before Quan leaves UM, he is going to be the type of player that opposing QBs are going to hold the snap count for until they find him on the field. Chad Thomas is going to be the same way.
