Rivera had zero chance of making contact one that 2 strike outside pitch. Hips and shoulders wide open on the swing.

Hitters have got to think opposite field with 2 strikes. Especially when the wind is blowing out to left. Your not getting an inside pitch if you're right handed batter.

Palmquist's pitches just get on top of the hitters. His release point and short windup makes his 92-93 mph look and feel like it's 98-99 because of the reaction time of not being able to pick up the ball.
