WTF is Lala doing? You cannot take strike 2 with runners in scoring position let alone a pitch right down the middle of the plate!! It doesn't matter thst is was a curveball. It was a hittable pitch thst you know is a strike. You're going to get a worse pitch with 2 strikes, so swing the **** bat!!!

We've seen this time and again from him. He just can't get out of his leadoff mentality with runners in scoring position.
 
Really expected Pollard to go to a LHP when he made the change there. Two of them had success last night.

Although he did end up getting the two lefties (Vilar very productively)

He seems like he can't get out of his lead off approach. I can live with the swing and miss strikeout. The failure was not swinging at the 1-1 curveball thrown down the middle of the plate that he knew was going tobe a strike. You're only going to get bad pitches to hit in a 1-2 count. That was his failure to execute by not swinging at the 1-1 pitch.
