Get Lala out of the leadoff spot. He’s been atrocious the last couple of weeks. I’m fine with outs but he is rolling everything over for weak ground outs early in counts... not good for a lead off

Smith needs more of a slide step in his delivery. He picks his leg up and as the announcer has said, he's not varying his timing to the plate. This makes it easier for base runners to steal on him.
