No Trey Sanders to Miami alsoDarnell Wright to Miami, correct OP?
Let's stop with the whole star rating thing it's a joke in it's self. This kid is now a 3 star on 247 the most legit of the rating systems. Now my question to you is this 1. Have you watched his film 2. What about his film do you not like outside of he has not matured size wise.
Bar Milo was a 4 star recruit and was never good enough to play 2 seconds at Miami. . As far as being a homer I am evaluating the kids tape and that's all anyone can and should do ..
His tape was better than the kid who committed to Clemson yawl cried about all he did was two hand push people all tape ..
No question he is a reach, but with the right training and weight, could actually turn out okay in 2 years
Going to take a bit longer than that.
The right training he can pack on bulk like crazy and in (1) year be over 300 pounds, muscle base to do 500 bench , squat over 650 and deadlift same.
BEAST / DESTROYER he can be easily no problem at all .
All he has to do is WANT IT BAD ENOUGH to destroy people.
Train likening other to be like no other
NOT ROCKET SCIENCE ONLY PASSION TO ... WIN
How about you describe his tape to everyone then? He moves good laterally, which is expected to be the case when he's 240 lbs. How's his frame going to handle the weight? Is he going to move at the rate he does? Probably not.
Bar Milo is more of an outlier. I could point to other 4 star recruits that actually panned out. Can you show me other recruits that used to be rated 2 stars late into their senior years that have panned out?
Again, he may actually work out at this level. ****, maybe he becomes the ultimate gem that recruiting analysis talk about 10 years down the road. But in terms of this argument - he's the very definition of a reach.
I just like to point holes in arguments. He isn't a 2* anymore, and also...Ed Reed lol
Talking about OL.
Edit: Also, Ed Reed was a recruit in the mid-90's. You think guys go under the radar like that now? Recruiting services and camps have expanded to where there are not as many gems. The fact that you've brought up one guy in the last 20+ years is all I need to know.
I'm just being an *** and poking holes in your argument right now, I'm not actually being serious.
Also, Hunter Renfrow was unranked.
Sort of the same argument where people kept mentioning Richt going 7-6 in year 3 and Dabo doing the same and saying look how that turned out.
That's an outlier, more often than not, the results are said coach gets fired later on in his tenure. This is another example. Can anyone be so sure that this kid will absolutely work out? You can't.
You seem to be pretty certain that he won't work out. However, to support your argument you would've been better off bringing up Tre Johnson.
The kid is not an athletic freak. He just looks athletic because he is a 230lb OL. Take Navaughn and have him cut weight to 230 and he would be running circles around this kid.also in 2 yrs and kid is athletic freak so has lt ability , if he is 300 lbs u got something. iowa/Wisconsin have some of the best olines in college taking kids like this

Navaughn was moving well in high school at 330. Dude was playing TE and creating separation. No clue how people keep saying he can't move fast enough for Tackle...our OL coach was just trash.
I love navaughn I am just saying that teams take 240 lb guys move to oline get them drafted in 1st all the time he just needs to add good weight and strength. Donaldson needs to l ose bad weight he didn't do it under felger if does under new s&c then he can play tackle has athleticism to do so but he got beat like a rented mule at rt is why moved bacl to guard and Scaife to rtNavaughn was moving well in high school at 330.
