Pay close attention to the word "senior" . That list doesn't account for early entries. The 40th ranked senior tackle isn't a legit NFL talent, nor is the 13th ranked senior QB.
LULZ at UM fans worrying about Duke. You know how you solve Duke's light schedule? You beat them, which we will certainly do.[/QUOTE
If they get drafted at ALL at DUke, it's legit NFL talent. This year Duke may have around 5 players drafted which i would have to believe is a school record. They have a OG ranked higher than any Miami OG. They have a WR who is one of the elite playmakers in the entire country. They have a LB who should get drafted top 4 rounds. They have a S more higher regarded right now by NFL scouts than Miami does. I think right now Miami would love to have a proven QB in Boone going into the season.
Oh and what the poster is getting at is even if we BEAT DUKE by half a hundred, we could still lose out on the Coastal, because we play at Louisville and FSU at home, while Duke has a charmin soft schedule, so beating Duke may not EVEN matter.
I like how these pre-bull chit draft predictions mean something all of the sudden. I didn't know the quality of the opponent was determined by CBS sports PRE-SEASON DRAFT analysis. Maybe we can bribe some of these analysts.
No, it's a combination of several things as I pointed out above. Duke has been getting better year by year. It's not like they were 2-10, then won 10 the next year like a fluke. They have been building under Cutcliffe for years, they have a veteran team that won 10 games last year, and they could be even better this year, AND they now have legit NFL talent.
You know the same way we stomped Duke in bball a few years back, their fans didn't want to acknowledge we were actually good in basketball, it's the same with Miami fans and Duke football. They are a really solid football team, we should still beat them at home, IF we have a QB who can perform, BUT that still doesn't mean we will win the Coastal. Their schedule is so soft.
