Only we play FSU and Louisville... Except VA

We start in the hole already...

Duke has an absolute cake walk... **** so does Vatech

Gotta figure 2 losses wins our side....

I bet the Duke /UNC game decides the whole thing

OOC schedules, aside from us, are incredibly pathetic. Just guessing, but I'd assume fsu and clem are the only other good ones. Fsu's being the best by a long shot.

We need to schedule OOC games like Virginia... UCLA and BYU... I'd like to see Washington, LSU, Oregon, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Texas, USC... thats what I want to see for OOC games on the next 5 to 10 years

Is it really a foregone conclusion that Duke will contend for the ACC this year? Don't forget, they are losing 27 (!) total touchdowns now that Connette has transferred. Boone was a 64% passer last year and threw 13 int with 13 TDs. I don't understand why no one will mention that. Their defense is average, they lost over half of their touchdowns and we have them at home early and we should be relatively healthy. I'm much more concerned about VTech on the road on a Thursday than Duke. ****, I'm more concerned about UNC and their running game with Williams than I am about Duke. Just me though :noidea:

Well we have Michigan State and LSU a couple years from now. It's a start. I agree with your post too.

Duke is better than UNC.

They've beaten UNC 2 years in a row.
Theyve gone to bowl games 2 years in a row, even won 10 games last year.

They have more players on the All ACC team than we or UNC does with 4.
They have legit NFL talent now in the program.

They have a good coach with 17 returning starters.
They have a favorable schedule too.

That mirage beat our a** soundly last year. Until we prove otherwise it's a loss.

was good canes fans, i want to say this about UNC, i stay in Raleigh and i rep my Canes to the fullest and i want to say if you look at the 7 gm stretch of games UNC has with 5 games being on the road:

Sept. 20 at East Carolina
Sept. 27 at Clemson
Oct. 4 VIRGINIA TECH
Oct. 11 at Notre Dame
Oct. 18 GEORGIA TECH
Oct. 25 at Virginia
Nov. 1 at Miami

ECU beat down UNC last yr in chapel hill and unc always seems to struggle to stop Ga. Tech, i mean unc had 1 of the worst run defenses in the ACC, plus they have road games at Clemson and Notre Dame, they will not survive this stretch of games with 5 out of the 7 on the road, there defense will be alot weaker this year w/o a doubt being they lost some key guys and then dont forget the in-state rival games with Duke and NC State, lookin forward to the season and hope to see all my Canes at the GA TECH gm and VA TECH gm which i will be attending. Dont buy into the UNC MESS, I live here and i keep telling them its a basketball school...pzzzzz

Name the legit NFL talent.

Jamison Crowder-13th ranked senior WR by CBS Sports. Named preseason 1st team ALL-ACC 2014. 108 catches/1,360 yards/8 TDs 2013. He was ALL-ACC 2013, and 2nd team All American as a PR.

Laken Tomlinson-2nd ranked senior OG by CBS Sports. Preseason ALL-ACC 2014. ALL-ACC 2013. Named to Outland award watch list.

Takoby Cofield-started 29 games at Duke, rated top 40 senior T by CBS Sports.

Anthony Boone-13th ranked senior QB by CBS Sports. 9-2 as a starter for Duke last year.

Kelby Brown-13th ranked senior LB by CBS Sports. ALL-ACC 2013, and preseason ALL-ACC 2014. Named to Bednerick Award watch list for best defensive player. 114 tackles/11 TFL/2 INT's in 2013.

Jeremy Cash-S-#2 ranked S for 2016 draft. Could be a top 3 round pick if he comes out early. ALL-ACC 2013, and preseason ALL-ACC 2014.

Pay close attention to the word "senior" . That list doesn't account for early entries. The 40th ranked senior tackle isn't a legit NFL talent, nor is the 13th ranked senior QB.

LULZ at UM fans worrying about Duke. You know how you solve Duke's light schedule? You beat them, which we will certainly do.

Yea, lets start talking about what games we're gonna lose.....SMFH.

Perhaps we should start worrying about ourselves. Considering we can't control the unknown (i.e. Duke v. VT etc.), maybe it helps if we beat Duke, VT and UNC this year.

I like how these pre-bull chit draft predictions mean something all of the sudden. I didn't know the quality of the opponent was determined by CBS sports PRE-SEASON DRAFT analysis. Maybe we can bribe some of these analysts.
