Anyone else think

Not saying we would have beaten either of them, but there were two teams in the playoff I think we matched up decently against…Penn St. and Notre Dame. They would have pounded the rock against us, ate up clock, which would have lead to a close score in the end. Opposing offenses who could exploit our weak secondary are the type of teams that worried me. If nothing else, Penn St./Dame showed that, yes, in this era you can still go far playing old school style of football, but at the end of the day you still need explosive playmakers at WR, and a dynamic QB.

A lot of what ifs-

The only matchup I care about is game 1 next season-

Will Beck be ready?

Will the rebuilt defense hold up in game 1 vs an opponent like ND?

The weather should help us hot and humid -

Under Freeman they are alot more physical-

They had a ton of injuries-Some of there key players will be back .

Thank god or we would be in Big Trouble because we would be riding the Emory train. I keep telling people Cam did us a favor by showing us what we didn't have and that's a QB for next year.
They already saw him start 2 games last year. You really think they needed one half of play to know he wasn't the guy? They knew it going into the bowl game.

This was a fiasco that Mario could have avoided by putting his foot down and tell Cam he can sit out the game to prevent injury or he can play the whole game. No halfsies ****.

Anyone who thinks Cam "quit" on his team is a moron. The narrative that is a lot more difficult to dispute is Cam just played a half to get a record.

I know for a fact they were excited after seeing him those two games and the bowl game changed a lot of peoples minds. So Yeah.

If we lost, it'd be by a score or less. But we'd have a chance to win every game until Mario Marios.

No one in the nation was stopping Cam Ward and blowing us out over 4 quarters.

We would actually beat ND if we played Monday?
the matchup would fit our strengths. I don’t think they would be able to stop us enough and they aren’t very dynamic on O.
Ohh what could have been with Ward and Co.

Miami's offense could've hung with the Irish's defense and put up 24 to 27 points.

The Canes defense would've gotten steamrolled like a hot knife through butter and Notre Dame would've controlled the ball and clock.

Notre Dame 31, Miami 23.
