Wasn't that what Alonzo Highsmith was going to be for? Don't think there is anyway that cristobal will ever be gone unless he just retires for health or family reasons

I know what Mario is and I’ve accepted that back to before he was hired . I knew we’d get financial backing unlike we’ve ever had , he’d load us up with talent and would make the trenches better. I also knew he was a suspect, to bad gameday coach . He’d drop a game or two a year to teams we were far superior to. In three years I’ve gotten everything I’ve asked for. Frustration , anger and happiness lol. The Mario experience hasn’t surprised me at all.

The real question is, can man tatas lead us to the national title? I've seen nothing to suggest he can.

Let’s see how the playoff rankings end up. If Bama gets in the CFP is a joke and **** it all. SMU deserves to be in over any three loss team in the country.

I don’t think Miami deserves to be in over SMU. We didn’t play in the conference championship game and they did. We had every opportunity to do so and controlled our own destiny. With our offense and slightly-better-than-average defense, Miami is undefeated and second behind Oregon.

Just such a bummer we aren’t in action today. I’ve been thinking all week in my thirty years of fandom that loss to Cuse was maybe most painful since fiesta bowl.

It was brutal. I tried to totally forget the season during the week but last night when I turned on the TV and saw college fball on it def stung. Been let down by this team so many times of the last 2 decades of pain post 2002 letdown...just really makes me wonder if they couldn't even get to the ACC championship w the #1 O and best QB when will they ever? Super frustrating...

I watched the game on a cruise last weekend, a small group of Miami fans were there, seeing our defensive ends drop in coverage was mind blowing, and Porter just being the same as any other game, Harris’s played ****ed me off the most, how he continued to see playing time was a head scratching moment, Kiko, pffttt and that td run where the rb spun and both Harris and Kiko missed, that was when I was like yeah this game is done. We had it locked up with a 21-0 start and then that 2nd quarter blues set in, and we just watched in disbelief that we completely choked the game away. I expect a drop next year without having Ward, which in my mind would be unacceptable in year 4.

Funny enough I watched the game from a cruise ship as well. Leaving from Ft Lauderdale. Far more OH State and MI fans but a few Canes fans surfaced.

I was on one out of Port Canaveral, **** ton of Bama fans.. go figure, Texas fans and such.
