Huff is talented and is the type of LB college and nfl are looking for in todays game.

That’s your opinion, and I guarantee I can pull up posts from a year ago that agree with you. Huff was my favorite LB recruit last class that we were seriously in the game for. That being said, Avery Huff does absolutely nothing to scare a kid like Antoine Sampah or Justin Flowe away. Not a single thing. A truly elite recruiting staff pulls multiple monsters this class. They basically recruit themselves when you have a situation like this. No excuse to settle for anything. LB recruiting has been abysmal recently. Now is the chance to make it right.

I know this was the narrative when Jadon choose OK (and others) but would it not make more sense to drive up a bag with another bag school? Like say UGA is who I like? I mean, if we are playing the bag game we are either 1. not very good, or 2. easily outbid. Neither would make it seem beneficial (for the player) to start using our name to drive up his bag.

Just did my own research. Apparently clemson was planning to take only 2 LBs with the possibility of a 3rd. They have 2 LBs commited who they see as Mlb. And they are now going after a 4 star LB from NC who is a olb. So they arent recruiting sampah anymore.

Yea I’d say 4-5. I’d be extremely happy if we land McCluster, Mathis, this dude, and someone else if we don’t land Flowe. Other names will emerge as the cycle goes on.

Went to Clemson's 247 board and this seems to be on course with what the Anna Hickey chick is saying. Not a peep about us, but that they told him he is an oversign and they're slow playing him and it will probably kill their chances if they end up missing on higher targets and circle back on him. Says if he decides soon then it won't be them. The kid said he wanted to commit before his SR season so I say we get him back down for the summer asap and roll out red carpet. Also they have 2 LB commits who are ILB's and Sampah is an ILB and isn't really needed.

They see kinsler as a LB. And yeah they need at least 3. If garvin leaves early there will be only 3 on the roster.

Possibly..when they turn up the heat, the visit high wears down and Md doesnt win much games. They were on him first and they are selling package deal right now though

LBs should be lining up to play in Manny's system. Sideline to sideline speed demons who crush people are a premium in the NFL...look at Pittsburgh moving up for Bush this year, perfect example.
