Good point about proximity to New Orleans. Admittedly I don't know much about Woodbridge, VA but a quick google search leads me to believe its a decent suburb of Washington DC. I'm a probably a bit jaded right now. Just returned from a bachelor party in Talladega yesterday and the amount of confederate flags still flying around is insane

You can't be serious. Have you seen the stadium and crowds they play in front of? To include playing in the SEC West. Those kids are treated like NFL players in Baton Rouge.

Its always the same **** with our fans. They don't grasp how much fun it is to be in some of these college towns where football is the king. Its not like our players are out till all hours enjoying miami. So being in a college town with a stadium isn't too bad.

According to the stats, what matters is blue chip ratio (4 and 5 star) for winning championships. I can't remember exactly but I think every champion in BCS era has been in top 4. I think another poster said we are #5 or 6 now (we were way off during Golden era), but I might be wrong. If true, we are nearly there. Number of five stars was irrelevant, it's the combined total of 4 and 5 that matters.

True, are blue chip ratio is among the best. At the end of the day u need to both recruit well and develop those players. I could easily see us upsetting Clemson in the ACCCG this year but I think we need a couple more top 10 classes to truly be on their level.

Drove through Baton Rouge when I moved to Cali, man that place is a DUMP!!!! Nothing really special about LSU campus and everything outside of the campus smelled and looked like ****.
