LSU just had a LB drafted #5 so I'm sure they sold this kid on that

Also, they have OBJ and Jarvis Landry in the league as two of the most "celebritized" NFL WRs - LSU Just landed 5 Star WR from DC area

LSU has some good
Momentum. A good qb and a NY6 bowl win will do that to you. They’ll be good next year. Don’t know how good. But should have a good enough roster to win all their games and lose to bama.

LSU landing OOS 5-Stars is 100% about bags.

I know we say this about a lot of places but seriously, who the f**k would want to live there for 4 years without major incentives.

You can't be serious. Have you seen the stadium and crowds they play in front of? To include playing in the SEC West. Those kids are treated like NFL players in Baton Rouge.

Never been to Baton Rouge, but it's **** close to New Orleans which is a f**kin awesome city?

We won't consistently land composite 5 stars if we won the next 5 championships in a row. Most players want to get paid. If I planned to leave college for the nfl as soon as possible, then had the choice of going to school A or B, and A was offering me 200k, B was just offering a quality education, I'm going with A. You have a few kids who want to make their parents proud and rep the U, but most elite 5 stars are mercenaries. Thats not changing no matter how much we win. It doesn't matter though. Case in point: Greg Rosseau. 3 star underrated recruit. I think he is going to be better than the elite 5 star DEs that Clemson or Bama have recruited because he is hungry and wants to prove himself. Keep hitting homeruns like that and we don't need a roster of 5 stars.

If North Carolina and Pittsburgh are dropping bags u can be assured Miami is too. Manny pulled up in a multiple million dollar yacht lent by a hurricane club member and you're insinuating we don't play the bag game? We do. Every P5 program does, there is just levels to it.

U said we don't need 5🌟 players, we can just develop the guys we get, but I doubt there has ever been a national championship winning team that was absent of 5🌟 players.

According to the stats, what matters is blue chip ratio (4 and 5 star) for winning championships. I can't remember exactly but I think every champion in BCS era has been in top 4. I think another poster said we are #5 or 6 now (we were way off during Golden era), but I might be wrong. If true, we are nearly there. Number of five stars was irrelevant, it's the combined total of 4 and 5 that matters.
