If he's not then he could play DE where we could also really use him. Mesidor is solid but he's a tweaner and not an every down player. After him we have next to nothing. Harvey meh, Williams meh, Ishmael meh Davis tiny and hasn't played much, Moss hasn't played and Kelly looks promising. Then incoming freshmen yikes. Fúcking oof

It’s not a surprise. I know people are looking for us to land some big time kids - and we still might - but the reality is that despite NILs, kids know their ultimate payday is in the nfl and if we have a crummy product on the field, that will hurt their chances to get drafted where they want to be.

The reality is that bama/uga/etc will continue to land the top tier portal kids.

I think some would argue that Oregon and bama were both closer to sign him last year than we were. Kid ain’t coming.

Juggernaut isn't the issue. BAMA has shown they get who they want out the portal. They typically don't pursue the "DEPTH" players we pursue.

Lol Mesidor was pretty good against the pass and run. Missed a few games and still was tops in tackles and tfl.
