Anthony Hundley Decommits

Got to do something different, we by far lead the country in decommitments the last 5 years. Even Sorry *** willy Taggart hasn’t had a single decommitment in his 2020 class. I know We can drop kids but these decommitment notes that drop and etc is just bad for perception really

It’s asinine that UMiami had 15 kids committed before any of them played a single snap in their junior year. Miami will never be able to move over to the Clemson model, but the school sets itself up for defeat this way. As always, winning over a long period (30+ wins in 3 years) would minimize this issue

When Tim Burns committed, Manny talked to Tim about the value of commitment and how the players need to focus on that commitment because other recruits weren’t. Instead of trusting impressionable recruits to change things, he could’ve asserted his power and told it like it was, “Don’t commit here unless you’re 100% invested. Don’t take 5 summer visits to other schools next summer etc etc etc.” The fact that Manny brought it up and told Burns that other coaches will begin to call him more often is good, but wish he would take it a step further. Only the elite elite should have committable offers at this point.

Miami doesn’t need to take every 2021 kid that wants in. There are 2021 commits from the tri county area that never even made it to campus this summer.

Who the fck is that? And why the fck would anyone want to interview him? We need to be a lot more selective on the two year out commitments.
Agreed, our coaches need to stop trying to please some of these **** riding prima Donna ******* who are trying to use us. Tell them straight up you ain't good enough for us to accept a commitment from you this far out. Go earn your spot at Miami

Nothing but facts!

Why don’t you call Manny and give him a recruiting pep talk?

The egos of kids are on full display. No one even knows who this kid is, yet he thinks every single reporter in the state of Florida's going to be asking him whether he's going to Bama, Clemson, or UGA. This kid may have just found himself at FAU.

This post is going to be gold next time this year. If it pans out that way I nominate this award to be placed CIS yearly slate along with illustrious Keef Bryant Honor.
What ever happened to Keef? And where's our favorite Trevino Valentine?

Dude, there's a Ft. Lauderdale U14 thread here with 27 posts and I refuse to open it. May be the most insightful thread in CIS; but I ain't thinking that far out. Gimme the #Category20 class and sprinkle in some 21 kids that wanna be Canes and I'm good.
SEC schools droppin' bags of bubble gum?

Don't even know if kids are into bubble gum anymore....

Whatever.

Just say it. You can’t handle it.
