Harrison Hunte is a take no matter what, I think we need another freshman DT coming in and a senior DT who can play right away would be great so we don’t need to rely upon a guy like Silvera to be a starter or the 3rd guy.

I agree with everything except not wanting Silvera to start I think he is forsure gonna be a starter next season

Didn’t say I don’t want him to start. I don’t want him to be handed the starting spot because he is competing with only Ford and Bethel. I would like to bring in other talent to push or supplant the incumbent rotation.

It's because it's Rice, Christian Covington (3-4 DE - 2015 6th Rounder) didn't either. IMO Abercrumbia is a much better player than Odenigbo.

He is a DT, though probably not a nose for us.

Edit: My note on Covington was just regarding lack of tape out of Rice even for arguably their best defensive lineman in the last decade.

I hope Nesta takes a huge step, he doesn’t have to be Willis but if he can get us 3/4 of that production we should be alright.

This kid, the UCLA DT and hill and the DL depth is second to Clemson in the ACC. Gives us to redshirt the incoming DT's if needed and able to bring Jordan miller along slowly.

Well if he comes hopefully, but outside of the A$$head personal foul against UVa, Tito O wasn't bad at all for UM.
