Another Grad Target Rice DT Zach Abercrumbia

So we got Harrison-Hunte, The UCLA transfer, and this guy for that final DT spot. Unless one of them moves to DE where we need 2 more there.

Harrison Hunte is a take no matter what, I think we need another freshman DT coming in and a senior DT who can play right away would be great so we don’t need to rely upon a guy like Silvera to be a starter or the 3rd guy.

What? Why wouldnt we want to rely on silvera?

I'm fine with Silvera earning his way into the rotation and I have no doubt he will do that, but I don't want him to be just put into the rotation by default same with Ford. It would be nice if we had a grad transfer who came in who has proven in the past he is a quality player to start or push the unproven players already on the roster.

Best DT in the country coming out of high school. The job is his for the taking and he's going to kill it next year

Competition. Manny is preaching it, needs to make it happen ASAP with transfers and recruits.

Let's get Miami caliber players in here regardless of background and let them fight on Greentree.

Hard yes, this kid can play and in my opinion needs limited coaching to make an impact at the collegiate level. He's a day one starter here and gets after the man with the ball. (I watch a lot of Rice games).

Good enough for me, bring him in to start with Nesta keeping Bethel and Ford as rotation pieces.
