Kehoe spoke at an offensive line coaches coaches conference today and had this to say.
Kehoe on recruits: "Don't tell me you're a C or an LT. Tell me you're an offensive lineman and we've got five spots for you. In recruiting you hear, 'Oh, he's a 5-star.' Then you watch the film and he's an 'I want to puke in a bucket' star. He can't move!...I don't like shy guys. You can be shy around girls and all that, but when we're on the football field your *** better not be shy."

This guy will have some great Olineman coming in with McDermott, Gibbons, Darling, Linder etc.. I hope he does great work with them.

His work has been unsatisfactory on the field. More often than not, our OL played poorly.

Worst short yardage run blocking I've ever seen, multiple defensive players in the backfield within a second of the snap way too often, had real trouble with small, untalented DL's from poor teams.

Agreed, our Oline was suppose to be a strong point and I was disappointed. I've never seen a team struggle so greatly to pick up a 3rd/4th and short. Remember before the season when people were calling them the "Great Wall of Coral Gables"?

Kehoe gets a lot of complaints, but the OLine is consistently the best unit on the team. Granted, that guard-center tap from the bowl was a bit embarrassing, but everything about that game was embarrassing.

they gave up 13 sacks all year and half of them were morris holding the ball too long. you gotta be kidding. some of you just babble.

Henderson was a freshman All American and Kehoe turned him into a part timer.

No excuse for using Wheeler over McDermott at center.

If he had any guts, he would have told Golden O Lineman don't shuffle between plays.

Henderson turned himself into a part timer

^honestly I think Kehoe feels completely indebted to Golden for bringing him back to Miami, I don't think he would ever second guess or give Golden any difference of opinion.

If that's the case then that is super ****ed up.

Still need to see improvement from the Oline. We had the talent last year to push people around, a line of future NFL players (except C) and yet we got stoned way too often. I saw improvement when Stoutland came in, especially in the run game, not i'm seeing it regress just a bit again. I will give Kehoe credit, he's at least recruiting better than the tale end of his last stint, but i need to see more on the field.

Oh, and STOP ROTATING GUYS THROUGHOUT GAMES!!!! I hate that. It kills continuity. It's one thing in blowouts or against lesser teams to get guys reps, but there has to be a set 5 for the rest.

Our offensive play calling was terrible and it made our oline look crappy. Those running plays take forever to develop

Love kehoe, but I think his time is done. The OL was very disappointing last year.

Not blaming Kehoe, because he has shown in his time. He can put together a solid OL, but this season was a disaster in being consistent. In high clutch moments, and the obvious tapping on the center was a noob move.

I know with the mammoths we had on O-line there should be no excuse for not picking up a 3rd and short...however, the play calling had a lot to do with it IMO. Zone runs, stretch plays?...we should have been able to run straight up the gut and get 2 or 3 yds on every play. Those plays were never called though.
