Gogeta my man you know what speak of. Surtain II is definitely legit and so are the rest of the cats you named but Campbell and Chatfield are tremendous, a notch above the others. Both are 10th graders with giant frames. Chatfield end up in the 250-260 range and maybe a couple inches taller with that same olb athleticism. Scary burst and ultra-violent hands for a 15 year old. I could easily see both guys as consensus Top 25 players nationally in their senior year. That's No Frio's area to recruit....soooooo
Add to it...there are a bunch of former nfl players sons who have a hard on for sec schools or whoevers winning...since most of the kids that play their are transferred kids who are bandwagons in high school.
Brian Burns is legit....do want. Lol crazy motor and size.
Tederrwl Slaton. An ok that is a Jr. is Huge we should be all over him he's nasty as well.
They have some young dbs as well....Tyson Campbell a 6'2-6'3 corner and Chad Wilson son another corner who is like 5'10 -170-175.
But we might be players there with Richt now the head man. But the school/program are a front running atmosphere.....we were losing
Dont forget about Patrick Surtain Jr. He might be the best of the bunch. They have other prospects as well, George Ellis DT, Kyshaun Bryan RB.
I like Campbell more than Surtain.
They also have Andrew Chatfield a big kid they have playing de at about 6'3 225. He should be an olb though.
Geore Ellis is another big kid..... Bryan is electric.
They have alot of young talent.....Slaton is a man child though, and Campbell is freaky fluid. UM can rack up if their on point imo.
The ones we lost...Sony and Gibson were American Heritage kids...kind of kids that have been their for awhile...alot of these upcoming kids are transfers from inner city schools so you see a diff outlook from their parents on recruiting, etc.
what are we looking like for Brian Burns?
I haven't followed recruiting for a while now due to Golden fatigue but how are we constantly not even in play for their players? Does Rumph have issues with the University or was it with Golden?
One of the most overblown narratives were that certain coaches hated Miami. Golden missed on two kids from heritage - sony & Torrance Gibson. Mike rumph can't force golden to offer Mckenzie, T-mac (we offered as a gesture but did not want him), dowels, Marshall Morgan, Michael deeb, Edgar, etc.
Sony decided to go to UGA because bmac recruited him for three/four years while his main recruiter for Miami, Terry Richardson, left right before his decision. Moreover, Marshall Morgan had shown him around a bunch of times and he really liked Athens. He gave Miami another look during the wake Forrest game and nothing came out of it.
Bmac and Richt have built really strong relationships with rumph and the other coaches at American heritage so there should be no doubt that we will lock that school up in the upcoming years.

same thing with alex Collns in terms of richardson, surprising how little this is brought up
Rumph has no problem with Miami and doesn't steer kids away from us. We simply blew recruiting at that school.

Didn't Rumph just publicly lie about the timing of Sony's Miami offer?

Every single time though seems tough to explain

Every single time though seems tough to explain
1. They screwed up Isaiah McKenzie's recruitment, that's per my buddy who coaches at Heritage. (not Rumph) If I remember correctly, he said that Hurlie Brown screwed up (specifically). He had to leave and couldn't tell me exactly how they screwed it up.
2. They offered McFadden late.
3. They wouldn't promise Gibson a shot at QB. (not that I disagree with that, but I would've told that kid anything to get him to my school)
4. They didn't recruit Juwan Dowels at all. First team All-State, Broward Defensive Player of the Year, led the state of FLA in interceptions. Offers from Clemson, Texas A&M, Cincy, Oklahoma, etc.
I have a good rapport with Rumph and I chop it up with him every so often and he has never said, or given me the impression, that he steers kids from Miami.

Why are people acting as if Rumph is forbidding his players from going to Miami when that is not the case. He may give his opinion to a kid and whether that's negative or positive about any school that's him helping out the kid. As a coach his loyalty should be with the kid.
With the way a lot of people talk on here I'm glad that most of them have no chance of ever being able to talk, mentor or influence any kids who are recruits.
