Anyone find it odd that all of the Heritage guys are super quiet? Even a guy like Chatfield, who everyone saw as a UM lock?

Well, you should find it odd. They’re all picking UM and being quiet to create some drama.

I’ve been feeling this vibe for quite some time. ESPN will be at AH with 4 top300 players there im sure. I can honestly feel them all putting canes hats on.

I think being in the position to pull off the upset instead of trying to fight off the pack in the last two weeks is not a bad position to be in. Usually it's the other way around at this time of year with key recruits.

No coach that won national titles here, or anywhere for that matter, got every player they wanted. They simply got ENOUGH talent to win. Richt is doing that, and in a couple years our team will look bigger, stronger, and faster than they do today. I'm not going to worry about who we don't get, but rather be excited about who we do get.

Get the right 3 and 4 star talents, develop them, and carry that National Championship trophy.

That was also 20 years ago, recruiting has continued to advance. Hard to find those diamond in the rough kids

This is 100% a fact. I was reading a breakdown of percentage of 5stars that went to the NFL. Basically as recruiting metrics got better a higher percentage of 5*s went pro. In 1999 it was like 35%, but as it got to the mid to late 2000s it reached like 70-80%.

I'm of the opinion that Campbell and Surtain will not go to the same university. They each may want to be the alpha in the secondary. No inside info, just a hunch. Just reading what everyone has been saying for months - i think we do not get Tyson. UGA seems to be in the lead here. Not saying we dont have a chance, but its like a Hail Mary at this point. As for PS2, i think we stand a puncher's chance here as well - because there has been no buzz about LSU for a long time, and not everyone ends up at Alabama. 50/50 IMHO. We get Chatfield - because who really wants to go to Florida. We get Quez and Chatman. Georgia pipeline paying dividends. I think we lose Briggs because this kid has a thing for FSU. Slick Willy will play on that. Peters is a fast riser, a lot of people will be knocking on his door late. Hopefully we can get an OV and sway him.

Look at butchs staff and you will see an all star collection of coaches who could develop players and many players stayed until they were seniors your argument only holds true if you have those two things
