Braun from GT would help immensely could help with his brother too.

Caneshades says he's going to Florida. They have been accurate with their info. Take it for what it is worth.

If we look at what matters most, which is average ranking, Miami is actually 22nd.

The 88.25 average rating tells us more about the value of the class per prospect. They only got 17 players, but it’s not a terrible average.

For perspective, Clemson has the 9th ranked class with an average rating of 89.76 (as of today). They have 29 players in the class so the overall rank is high because the 247 system rewards overall depth.

Considering the catastrophe the season was, the average rating is actually very close to the 2016 and 2017 classes. Win and replicate a class like 2018, blended with these transfers, and this isn’t a major setback. Miami has top end talent.

Plus a kicker is always going to bring down your average. especially in a small class.

Worst recruiting class in the last 25 years.
This is not on manny and not a knock on any of our commits .
Thank god the preacher is gone.
hs is rated so low because only has 16 members. the talent of players they got is excellent. not like this is a golden special filled with low 3 stars and high 2. this is a solid class player wise. just didn't get a lot of players and for those glad richt is gone without him wouldn't have an ipf or the new dorms Miami wouldn't be paying coaches going rates so no enos , wouldn't of showed ad/president what it took to compete with bama in off field staff and wouldn't have a 40 pct blue chip ration at talent now. when took over was 20 pct at best. yes richt had an outdated offense , yes he needed to make changes if stayed, he didn't and chose to retire. but richt did a lot of good things for Miami mostly off field but things that will pay huge dividends over the next few years as Miami crawls back to top of college football world

Manny did quite well for being on the job, what, 5-6 weeks? This looks like a top 10-15 class to me when counting transfers. Croot the crap out of HS players for '20 & '21 plus play entertaining, aggressive football this year, and I honestly feel we will be set up to be top tier for a decade. Oh yeah. Win the Corstool as minimum this year.

those guys didnt come in jan 1st tho right?

Taggart was hired less than a month earlier than Diaz and Mullet was hired about a month prior. However, the Gators missed a bowl game for the 2nd time in 5 years and FSU had to reschedule a cupcake to become bowl eligible and they both finished with a top 15 class. They each even beat us out in a couple battles even though we were coming off an NY6 game.

I am happy with the Manny hire, but I am not going to sit here making excuses for this class.
