Is there something that goes on at AH, or that went on, that repels players from wanting to be around Rumph?

I'm not kidding, at this point, the number of whiffs for one south florida school alone is bizarre, but for it to be a school whose HC is on our staff? It's unprecedented.

Now we know Rumph was very successful at funneling kids away from UM as AH's HC, and it seems that trend remains.

It is just such an absurd anomaly that so many former player would turn away from this guy. What the **** was going on there??

It sucks *** that we didn't land the two CB's. However, we still landed the best player from AH, which happened to be our most important position of need.
 
The ratio of hits to misses is just too high to ignore. Something is wrong there with Rumph and those kids.

He must of been a douche of a coach and CMR didn't get a read on that when hiring.

Some coaches are loved by their players. Even some good coaches are despised.

I don't think they dont like Rumph, they just don't **** with Miami as an institution

Its just the colleges like uga and bama are ruthless, Im pretty sure Rumph was on the staff when those kids got recruited to AH from 8th grade and they got them all. We whiff on not just AH we whiff alot but less with this staff. One thing is they cant close
 
Rumph should do the honorably thing and go back to the NFL. It's obvious the guy can't recruit, which is part of his job description.

Donate money to a school on the basis that the recruits goes to said university. Compensate your head coach according to where the kid signs. Kid has been essentially extorted. Everyone around him including his fam coaches and teammates are now extended dpendants. Why all the hype with these private school signings? It’s part of the deal to get the school exposure. When everyone around you is depending on a bag drop you can’t look at the camera. Nesta was gonna nesta, Blades almost left if we didn’t hire CMR. If we ain’t dropping bags stay away from all private school and academies and boarding schools etc.

lmfaoooooooooooooooooooooooooo you lost me when you really think Al Blades would've left. Kid was about to sign for Al Golden.

Free or not, without a legitimate recruiting reporter or analyst, this board is useless.
 
I can actually believe we didn't recruit TC the hardest. It was always Banda & Rumph with Ivey, Frierson, & Kaindoh's Kuck (or so it seemed). Maybe ol' Dumph put way to much stock into his personal relationship with Campbell & thought he could skate by on that. We are essentially paying Rumph 250K to teach technique & our CB's made average at best QBs look like Aaron Rodgers. We need to make changes.
