All-ACC Team

How is Flowers and Coley nowhere on that list?

I'm not sure about other o line in the conference but I would imagine that the freshman receiver from Maryland was the best freshman wr (stats wise) although I'm sure coley made it close. Also, Benjamin from fsu, Sammy Watkins, campanaro from wake, and even hurns were all statistically better I would imagine.. Next year though, coley Is going to explode depending on if we have a qb who can throw the long ball

with all of that all acc talent and our defense is still terrible... epic fail

The ACC likes to have all schools represented so they spread the all ACC honors all round regardless to who the best players really are

Lets B honest guys when you look at the Duke players that made All ACC it makes Al Golden look pathetic.

All ACC 2nd team, Duke DE, Kenny Anunike, was a 3 star TE out of high school.

All ACC 1st team, Duke CB, Ross ****rell, was a 3 star....

All ACC 1st team, Duke WR, Jamison Crowder, was a 3 star....

All ACC 1st team, Duke Safety, Jeremy Cash, was a 3 star

Why is Duke out developing Miami when it comes to the lower rated 3 star players thats been under Golden for 2-3 years..... where is the player development?

David Cutcliffe has 100x less to work with then Al Golden but he is getting better results b/c he is a better Head Coach.

Player Development is part of what being a Head Coach is about, and that is what Al Golden said he does well, but in 3 years these are the results.... no talent regardless of star rating being developed at a top tier BCS level.... lol yet you Golden slurpers want to bich about talent. GTFOH.

The guys like Tracy Howard, Rayshawn Jenkins, and Ladarius Gunter were snubbed b/c they play for a defensive scheme/philosophy that makes everybody look terrible on that side of the field no matter how "good" you really are..... that's on Al Golden as well.

You're right.. they aren't.. Cutcliffe has been there for 6 seasons to recruit and develop guys he thinks he can win with. Golden has had, 3 seasons and 2 full recruiting classes, and as of now, it looks like we're cleaning up in recruiting with his 3rd full class as well.. oh.. and we're 9-3.. not 3-9 like cutcliffe was in his 3rd season. Does 9-3 meet "normal" expectations, no.. but the sky isn't falling and 9-3, considering the 10 years of futility before golden, is not bad.

Jeremy Cash........... was recruited harder then ryan shazier both are studs but thanks randy

Jeremy Cash transfered from Ohio State to Duke, the kid is a baller. He has 109 tackles, 7.5 tfl and 4 picks as a Safety. And there were posts on here telling me he wouldnt help our defense cause he plays for Duke and therefore he sucks.

See post like this is why I hate most of the no standard Golden excuse making porsters thats ruining this site smh terrible

yet another pathetic example smh

so 9-3 "considering the 10 years of futility before golden isnt bad" even though Randy Shannon had a 9-3 season against an EXTREMELY more difficult schedule???

so 9-3 isnt bad when Miami was expected to go undefeated in the Coastal and challenge for the ACC but instead barely beat pathetic teams and got blown out by average teams???

just b/c Al Golden is doing good in recruiting you give him a pass for being a terrible HC or is that the only reason???? hmmmmm.....

and to even compare the challenges of what any football coach at Duke Basketball University would have to deal with to Miami and think the expectations and standards of those 2 programs are on the same level to begin with is just embarrassing to me....... guys who think like you on this site honestly make this fan base look weak.

Miami's been a down program for a decade but now it's okay to be an inferior program b/c Al Golden's in charge??? smh get out of my sight.

This guy..... wow. Are you literally shaking your head every time you write, "SMH" That would be a sight to see.

1. Duke got robbed.
2. Perryman too high. All 3 backers on second team are better.
3. Linder had an argument for 1st team.
4. Campanero should have been first team at WR.
5. Flowers and Howard should have been at least 3rd team, at a minimum. Robbed.
6. O'Donnell very deserving....happy for him.
7. Henderson and Bush had no business getting even honorable mentions.
8. Morris did not deserve even 3rd team.
9. They nailed the DTs right.
10. Matias too low.

2. Perryman is the best LB in the ACC, PERIOD, FINITO, THE END.

4. Yeah stick up for another teams players while dissing Perryman smh

7. Henderson got robbed, should have made 3rd team, and Bush is deserving of honorable mention

8. Yeah b/c besides Winston and Boyd there were so many other QBs that shouldve gotten the nod over Morris at 3rd team even though nobody knows who they are.

Kinda reminds me of the high school all-county teams. They're not usually based on actual production, moreso a "who's who" of prospects.

It's your opinion that we are an inferior program, you're wrong. Now, it's ok for it to take time to get back to what we used to be after a decade in the dumps. But that may be too logical for you. The reality is, we were expected to lose 2 or 3 games this year, people are just butt hurt that two of those 3 happened to be to VT (after a bunch of turnovers) and Duke, who is probably fielding the best team they've had in years.. Had the duke loss been to UF and we ended up 9-3, people wouldn't be up in arms about our record. The truth is, we haven't been good for ten years the expectation to return to greatness in year 3, is not a reasonable one.
