Do we really think these guys know what they are talking about? Take it for what it is, some clueless writers voting based on a stat sheet and watching a couple of games but not reviewing film.
 
Nonsense awards. They reward team results, ok. They go off hype, though. Deon Bush is on there based on what exactly?

Howard and Darby from FSU both got snubbed. Both are true cover guys. I know not many balls were completed to Howard, and read last week, Dary had allowed only 3 completions on him the entire year. Of course if u are these 2, there will not be many Int's when they don't dare to throw to your man.
 
No dlineman for Canes on there.............that's what separates us from a coastal title!!! That is just horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Duke should have been first team regardless of the in jury... He should be sharing the spot with Andre Williams... As for Howard being snubbed, he should have made it but when your team is averaging 500 yards a game per conference opponent everything accomplished is nullified... If he was able to get about 10 picks this year then that would have made up for the team deficiencies. Unfortunately, he was punished for the teams shortcomings... As for Crowder, you can't knock the best wideout on the surprise team of the year... He accumulated his stats with 3 qbs this year due to injuries... I think he is the only player on Duke who can compete with Miami speedsters. Since its a more spread league we should have 4 wideouts on the first team... Hurns had a great season and to think everyone frowned upon his signing in 2010... He was the best wideout in the state... I recall everyone crying over sticks and Dunkley...

Sure, but Hurns was moreso. When the season you just had is in the same breath as Eddie Brown and Andre Johnson, you are better than 2nd Team All Conference.

Not when you finish 3rd in the Coastal. Don't have a problem with the Crowder thing. Love Hurns attitude n work ethic. He is consistent. That said couldn't hold Brown or Johnson's jock for God's sake.

Duke has one carry and 68 yards more than Freeman in 4 less games smh.
