So coach Ategood set it up (radio announcement) in the Dead period so that he could get into Alex's ear away from the influence of AG.

You do realize that Signing Day is during a dead period right?

Yeah. And so Ategood will have Collins all to himself essentially recruiting for Arkansas and away from his family's influence.

This has been it from the jump. Alex is the first big time recruit to come out of that school. He was upset Alex committed early so he couldn't get more exposure at his school. They have had a few D1 guys recently but no one near Alex's level.

And Franklin is exhibit A. Gatewood spoke a lot about being disappointed Franklin wasn't getting the attention he deserved.

And that's what makes his actions even more despicable. Even more of a reason for AC to have his eyes opened to what a creep this dude is. He's clearly putting his own interests ahead of AC's by first steering him to Wisconsin and then Arkansas. Not a drop of interest in Arkansas until Bielema/Charlie Fartridge wound up there. Suddenly, his interest in Wisconsin evaporates and Arkansas is on the map. How many great S. FL players with a UM offer over the years have wound up at Arkansas?

I'll never suck up to a creep like Guntwood or keep my mouth shut about his loathsome behavior just to hoodwink a HS kid. AC needs to have his eyes opened to this, and the public should look to expose the weirdness of it. Sometimes, a little light shined on a situation can clear it up.
