Got this from an Arkansas board

Collins has a promise to not committ until NSD on some national show.

His coach set the deal up and got irrate when AC said that he would make his commitment this week.

"oh no you're not, not after we set the deal up in Atlanta"

"Oh I mean I won't go public."

Bingo. He set up the radio deal for AC. He knows AC is going to Miami and he has to make something off the kid and also keep in mind, nobody knew who Gatewood was until this year. He is trying to stay in the spotlight as long as he can. As for taking out the state so Al can't do a in home would be coaching suicide with the home school, I doubt that is his motive.
