Somewhere, in the deep, deep corners of my otherwise black and hate-filled heart, I am starting to feel bad for Collins. But then I see Gruntwood's porcine, slobbering jowls and I want Mama Collins to do another "**** naw" table leap. Just for the absurdity and drama of it all.

lol....Dad said him and Alex are close and that he's been involved in AC's life. Yet, when asked by the reoprter if he knew what was going on yesterday alex's dad said "no".

Must not be THAT close if you had no idea what was happening on one of the biggest days in your son's life....

Alex Collins' family hires lawyer; college announcement set again for today

The mother of South Plantation High running back Alex Collins has hired an attorney with the Cochran firm to represent the family "while she contemplates on signing the NCAA's Letter of Intent" that will decide where her son plays football in college.

The firm, founded by O.J. Simpson lawyer Johnnie L. Cochran, made the announcement Thursday.

Andrea McDonald refused Wednesday to go along with her son's choice of the University of Arkansas, preferring that he attend the University of Miami.

Meanwhile, the Broward schools district says Collins will announce his college choice at 1:30 p.m. today at a Plantation restaurant.
